Forgot to say, Runner, will the very best for this cycle! How are you feeling?
thanksi'm in quite a bit of pain today, as i have high ovarys due to scar tissue and they had huge problems getting the eggs, only got 4 despite there being more on the scan, there were 2 pushing on my stomach to get my ovarys down at one point, so i feel like i was the loser in a boxing match today
anyway, trying to look on the bright side
How are you coping BZ ?0 -
Runnerduck - get plenty of rest, I found egg collection painful after. Really hope this cycle of treatment works for you.0

runnerduck - thank you so much for that info, it was really helpful. Best of luck for the rest of the IMSI.
juju - thanks for the offer to pick your brains too. Hope everything's going ok for you and you're progressing well.
I might well be pestering both of you later for details lol.
Anytime, I'm here for you all. xBEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0 -
Hi girls,
Can you do me a favour and tell Hope to bog off for a couple of days? Every month I try to avoid it, but right up until the witch comes, I still get it! I'm on CD 28, 14 dpo which is the longest I've managed so far. I've been getting slight cramps for a few days and (.)(.) are still sore which is unusual. So I've been convincing myself the miracle has happened...until I remembered I've been taking B-Complex which should lengthen my luteal! Silly me!
It's that time of the month where all rationalisation and common sense goes out the window. If it weren't such a !!!!py situation, I'd be laughing at myself for being such a plonker!
Runnerduck: thanks for the info...it's useful to know how many scans to expect. I may have a choice in the near future of where to work, and although one place may be better for my career, it would make scans a lot more difficult. I think I'm going to give it my all, so I'll have to prioritise baby over career for now! I hope you've managed to relax and look after yourself; fingers crossed for you! I never realised it could be that physical!
JuJu-I might press you for info closer to the time if that's ok?:o
BZ & TTC40: I think I'll be a day behind you two.
I hope you are all doing as ok as can be. The good news is it's Friday :j0 -
Feeling blue.
Posted a while back as we had our first ever NHS FS appointment on 8th November. They told me second appointment would be 6-8 weeks then got a letter saying 28th March 2013.
Got a new letter saying sorry but they had to cancel that, new appointment 11th April 2013.
Five months from first (just medical history) to second appointment.I hate to criticise the NHS because it's a wonderful organisation, but I'm feeling pretty upset.

Pinkteapot: That's a bit rubbish. Is there any chance you can get on a waiting list for a cancellation? Would they mind if you called once a week just to check? They cancelled a couple of mine too and it just sucks.0

How are you coping BZ ?It's a bit cruel, cos I seem to be hypersensitive to progesterone now, so I spend all 2ww feeling sick, then the cramps etc make me feel sick too. Stupid body  I managed to work my way through a box of (£1.50 at Morri's :money:) of All Gold and a KFC tea last night though, just for good measure
What diet?

sounds horrible BZ, is the tranexamic acid ok to take while ttc as i used to take melformic acid (not sure if spellings correct)but was advised to stop while ttc, which was a pain as it sure made life easier.
I had a phonecall this morning 3 have fertilized and the 4th is in the proces so he hasn't given up on that one yet too, and we are provisionally booked in for sunday morning but he is going to ring us before 9am when he checks them, he likes to go to blasto but as we have only got 3 or 4 he probably wont risk it0 -

pinkteapot, i dont blame you, that sounds a really unfair wait, i would ring them and explain that you are really upset by the wait and would be willing to go in at short notice for a cancellation.0 -

I had previously asked about mefanemic(sp?) acid, and they said no to that one. I also have buscopan (a smooth muscle relaxant) for the cramps and spasms, if I need it. But I kind of think their an essential part of the 'clear out' - so I try not to take it unless I'm really struggling...
I don't really like taking it (not least cos it continues on the nausea-inducing theme!) while TTC, but I think it's a bit of a catch 22. If I don't take it I risk endless bleeding and my cycle c0cking about again....which isn't good for TTC either. So, I tend to wait until it gets messy/large clots, and only take it for as long as I think I can get away with...I had a phonecall this morning 3 have fertilized and the 4th is in the proces so he hasn't given up on that one yet too, and we are provisionally booked in for sunday morning but he is going to ring us before 9am when he checks them, he likes to go to blasto but as we have only got 3 or 4 he probably wont risk itFingers crossed for you, mate
