Another colleague announced pregnancy today.
Unlike others, I can (usually) deal with this. I am genuinely pleased for others (although wish it was me as well).
Surely one of us Clomidites will get a BFP in about a week.....0 -
For those who remember Kavics from the TTC thread, she has had a healthy daughter this week. :j
Lovely news but bitter sweet as her OH passed away whilst she was pg. A much wanted baby.0 -
TTC40, thank you so much for sharing the news about Kavics. I remember reading about her OH and feeling so very sad for her. I hope her and her daughter are both well and that they can be a great comfort to each other.
Had EWCM yesterday and a raised temp this morning so fingers crossed I may have popped an egg out for once! Was CD26 yesterday so that would actually be quite early for me. We DTD last night but we've been rubbish the rest of the week, and I don't think there's really anything in there anyway. Still, I guess it only takes one so hopefully there's a super-swimmer on his way as I type lol.0 -
oh i'm so glad to hear the good news about Kavics
Tea Lover we see plenty of BFPs on the other thread where they say 'didn't think we was in with a chance, we hardly BDed at all' so i have my fingers crossed for you
Did i forget to say yay to Juju? glad all is going well and (as far as is possible lol) i can understand it feelign surreal, i keep trying to imagine being heavily pregnant but i just can't manage it! such a unique and wonderful experience
Runnerduck i'll have my fingers crossed for lots of eggs

Team lowe, I could've written that post! I echo all those sentiments, ladies
Hope all goes well with your colposcopy today T2D
I'm off for my cd21 test today, to check clomid did it's thing. I'm pretty confident it did though, and that I ov'd on saturday night (judging by the pains I had! And cervix was on it's way back down on sunday night) ...I'd better have done, cos there's been no BD since- I think we've both had too much of a good thing, BDing 10 times in 9 days!_pale_

BZ - good luck. Hope the test goes ok and you don't have to wait too long for the results. I feel you should get some sort of medal for 10 times in 9 days. We've managed 9 times since sept!! And yes, I realise it's very weird that I know that :rotfl:.0

Hi all,
Thanks for the good wishes all for the colposcopy. I thought I put the details here, as the other thread aren't as used to medical stuff like we (sadly) are!. It's so nice to have you all in cyberworld thinking of me. Things went okish today. Nice consultant, and after a chat he did the colposcopy - he said there was an area of abnormal cells (which isn't surprising I suppose) and he took a biopsy. And re-did the swab, and a HPV test.
If I'm honest it really hurt. The whole thing, including the staining, and re-doing the smear. I think I was really tense which meant everything hurt. I was outwardly calm, but quite tense. After it was over I had a little cry, it just felt a little overwhelming. And I couldn't really stop tears on the bus on the way home! Not a good sign! DH was with me, but a bit freaked out by me not being little Miss 'in-control', and not sure what to do.
Doc has put the tests on rush, so that we can do the full things next week (the loop excision), assuming the biopsy comes back as expected. He did seem to think it would be necessary - and as I going away for a month I'd rather get it done now. It means no s3x for over a month though! Nothing for 5-10days, then for a month after the excision. Which makes taking soy this month somewhat of a waste...
Tealover, I saw your comment on the other thread. I'm on my second christmas where I was wishing I was able to give my parents a scan... it's so hard to watch the years roll by with nothing changing.0 -

Ditto! Just the thought of it makes me tired! Had CD21 bloods done this morning - Girl in car next to me must have been 8 months, car opposite had baby feet air freshner, even the security code on hubbies car window was annoying me as I waited - FBP (although all I saw was BFP!!!) Seems like I see babies everywhere. Hope your bruise isn't too bad.
Derby2 - I'll bring the marshmallows for the hot choc! Hope you're feeling better today.
Good luck next week runnerduck.0 -
time2deal - sending you a big virtual hug. I hope the results come back quickly and positively. Will be thinking of you this weekend.0

Sorry you found the procedure painful T2D. I have t be honest, I found it quite uncomfortable too, but obviously didn't want to freak you out. Make sure you stock up on some painkillers and try and have a good rest at home. A hot water bottle helps too.
As I said on the other thread, although it's not pleasant it's so good that you are getting all this sorted out.
Sending lots of love xMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0
