But oh no! Dog wants to kill the cat?! Maybe an early snip for said pooch might be in order - or counselling like you see on the telly! Feel free to dump any time hun and big hug coming your way from my corner of the world, x

Cheers Madmac. Dog's a incomplete female so no snipping to be done apart from her tongue - lolx She's such a sweetie and DH is soooooooo attached already, but the cat thing is a nightmare. trying to get my PMA back. Spoke to kennels who suggested we lower her protein as it canmake them hyperactive and recommended a "counsellor" :rotfl: I think they meant for the dog though

Thinking (or trying not to) of TTC at the moment. Supposed to be doing some of my CPD course (only one day of leave left and done nowt!) but suffering from serious internet distraction ......

    hi there
Just thought I'd finally say hello to a friendly looking group of people after a while of reading messages..
I am 37 and Dh is 43 and we are lucky enough to have been successful with low dosage IVF in 06 and have a lovely girl. Nothing wrong with either of us but after trying for 4 years started IVF, have not not been trying so am currently waiting for AF so I can start jabbing my muffin again as we'd like a sibling but if we're not lucky we are lucky in that we have lots of lovely other children for DD to grow up with... I ended up with severe SPD in last pregnancy and was in wheelchair for 6 months and took another year to get walking etc properly again - some people say I am mad for putting myself thru it again (It's 95% likely I'll get it again as it is hormone related)..
So good luck to all others who are TTC, fingers crossed (legs uncrossed) as I always say ;-)
    C xx

New to this thread, but I thought I'd join you. We've been ttc for almost ten years on and off, 3 early m/c ( 2 on clomid, 1 natural) with PCOS, weight issues, hypothyroid as well. Abandoned IUI in 07 as no response to meds. Now back on clomid and met, and desperately trying to lose weight for ovaran drilling or another IUI.

Welcome to the newbies! We seem to be having an influx at the moment! Glad to see you all. In the sense that I can't see you at all. But you know what I mean...
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

A warm welcome to sparkle and meercat from me, sounds like you've both been through the mill a bit so pull up a chair at our now extended table in the virtual bar in my head and I'll get the (non-alcoholic) drinks in!

I really could do with that sort of natter today, I'm struggling to keep sight of any PMA and am too distracted to concentrate on work. Not good!
  • Hi everyone and welcome to newbies.

Well thank goodness that AF is over with - it was hell this month!

I managed to lose some weight recently, so I feel for anyone who needs to lose, I have still got some way to go too.

Well its back to the same ole same ole... need to stop drinking wine though as I have got back into my habit of a glass or two with dinner - its not helping the weightloss!
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D
  • Good god, we've got people back! I always knew we were the best thread on the forums - glad you all agree!

Welcome to the new people, thanks for the 'drink' Madmac, mines a black organic decaf coffee please (yes that is as sad as it sounds!)

The break from hell is best not mentioned, although the place (disney) was probably not the problem - but you may well see the land rover dealer Barratts on watchdog if I get my way - I paid them £1200, they ruined my holiday and to cap it all the brakes still arent right. I cant forgive them for returning the car after a service (£800) in an unsafe condition, with barely working brakes, which they said had gone whilst the car sat on my drive - three parts and nearly a week later, it was the calipers, which can ONLY have gone when they fitted the new brakes. Trouble was, all the stress of this, having to try and borrow a car, not getting any sleep before we left, and then trying to sort it out from France did not make for a very good week. I am still not really back to full health, and even being pushed in a wheelchair for most of the time, I ended up feeling really ill and we had to end the break and come home early. We have ended up massively out of pocket, and I am just livid. I had been looking forward to this for ages - we booked it in May rather than having an abroad holiday cos of the problems with my support garments. To be honest, I love disney usually, and it just didnt seem to have its usual magic.

Anyway, back to the babymaking, I had my day 3 blood tests at the docs today, so hopefully that is okay, and I am looking forward to the 17th for my pretend embryo transfer - sad huh cos it will probably be painful!

Anyway, I have been told to lose weight and start to build up my exercise, so guess Id better try my best.

Have a good night - lilo

Hi newbies.....in the nicest possible way I hope you aren't here for long :D

I don't have much to report except that after having my mooncup for about 3 months I finally got round to sterilising it and 'trying it for size' at the weekend.
Without all the gory details......I'm not sure I am going to get on with it :o
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:
