Hi all, hope everyone is having a good weekend.

I havent slept well the last two nights and keep dreaming that spiders are in the room and waking up with a start. Not sure if it's the pessaries which are causing this or just the Stresses of treatment and the 2ww. I have a Zita West relaxation cd which I am using to help chill out. It's my birthday on Tuesday and so dh is taking me out for lunch today which will be nice.

What's everyone else up to today?

Btw, WTDN, I don't want to alarm you, but it's just occurred to me that the waiting list for my HSG was 5 months _pale_ You may need to prepare yourself for an NHS style wait, whatever they recommend :o

I have to do my HSG next. In London they only make appointments for that month. I had my first appointment with the specialist in day 5 and I tried to call than to make the appointment for the HSG and they programmed me in day 19 ! (and no  until than :( ... so I left it for next month when I have to call in day 1 (I was thinking of calling a day or two before and lie and say it's day 1)
I have the next appointment with the specialist in november :(
hopefully I will get clomid than or anything as I think it's so much wasted time without any treatment

Temp dip this morning, & sure enough she's found me. Ho hum. I've got the wine open ;)

Primmer keep listening to the cd, keep the warm (&not hot!) water bottle on your tummy & keep the faith :)

Hope you had a nice lunch Primmer and it took your mind of the 2ww for a nano-second. I have used the Zita West CD too, fingers crossed.

    Sorry onestep. Bummer.

  • Sorry Onestep - why do we dare to hope, every ruddy month..?! Have a nice few glasses of wine - then back on the horse, so to speak.

    ++++++++

Managed to mostly avoid SIL this weekend - it's a big house.. It was OK on Sat, coz I was drinking and we were sat round the table, and she was wearing a subtle kind of top...but this morning was rough. She was wearing a skintight bump-enhancing tshirt - and I was stone cold sober. She's probably paranoid about why I won't look at her and keep finding excuses to leave the room/look elsewhere. Oh well - it's over for now and this might be it until Christmas.

    ++++

In the meantime - CD18. Had a +ve OPK yesterday which meant - you guessed it - DTD at PIL's house!! Twice!!

Thankfully, DH can deliver each and every time. I did applaud him for his abilities to perform on demand, and he said 'if you're going to tell 'the internet' that, feel free to use my real name and use any 'rabbit' or 'stallion' analogy as you see fit...'

It's definitely a turnaround from the old days though, with me doing the running around OV time - the hunter has become the hunted!

    :rotfl: :D

Sorry about SIL. I'm avoiding one of my best friends til I'm convinced I can be around her impending bumpyness... which is ridiculous, cos the longer I leave it, the more bumpy she'll be... :o

    Sorry, Onestep :(

Good luck with the HSG, Mess.

    Part mouse

Primmer, how was lunch? :) Hope you manage some restful sleep!

Lunch was lovely thanks BZ and we went for a lovely walk along the river after which was nice. I also slept better last night so feel better in myself today. Back at work today and there is do much to do but am trying not to get stressed about it.

    Onestep - hugs for af

Chickpea - glad you survived the weekend.

    BZ - how you doing?

I'm alright, thanks Primmer. Still got my never ending cold, which for some reason is worse when I'm in bed (I've got dh to help change sheets, tidy, hoover, etc in case it's an allergen up here, but no joy yet...).

AF has already gone though, thanks to the tranexamic acid :D Turns out one of my sisters has just been put on it too, following a blood transfusion because of her severe anaemia. So that's 2 sisters in 2 years who've had to have a transfusion, making me very glad I insisted on a blood test when I did - catching my anaemia before it got to transfusion level! All because of heavy periods, which apparently the women in my family just take as normal _pale_

Just had a weird dream about egg collection and ivf though... Not scary or anything, just a bit bizarre.:)

    Happy (!) Monday everyone

  • Primmer - i also had weird dreams right after treatment, and am still having some odd ones, thats when i am actually sleeping. I was dreaming about going hiking last night. Hope work has been ok for you.

BZ - bet your dream was because you've been thinking about it so much. Glad it didnt scare you.

Onestep - sorry to hear AF showed her ugly face. Hugs.

    Chickpea - :rotfl:at your DH's comments.

    LOL Chickpea

CD11 here so I expect to ov this week.

OH is away a bit during the week so we've got to make the most of opportunities.

    Last night I told him it's s@@g -a-day week!

So this morning I was up & showered early & had to encourage (AKA tell) him to get up & shower. I didn't fancy BDing with someone who needed a shave/ teeth clean.

And who said romance is dead?

We'll see whether we manage every day.
