So so pleased for you Sarah. It bought a tear to my eye reading your post. I know everyone here has been trying for a long time and has their own stories and heartache but it's so lovely to hear a positive and happy story from someone who has obviously been through it.
Here's to a happy and positive pregnancy for you.
Lots of love.

Onestep, good luck with your first guest

Feel really down today. Don't know whether it's a clomid-induced low or just a general grump but feel like I could just have a good cry... but that probably wouldn't go down too well at work.0

Hope you are OK tealover.
I have read that Clomid can affect you - but as you say, it could be a general low mood!
Hope you found something to improve your day.
2ww for me - bored!0 -
Welcome Dom
Think I have chicken poxDD just getting over it, & I woke up yesterday with a big temp & headache. I have 4 spots so far..
So now I'm hoping we aren't lucky this monthWhen people show you who they are, believe them the first time0 -

Don't stress if you are lucky hun, enjoy itBefore 13 weeks gestation, there's only a 0.4% chance of any effects on the LO and the NHS says there's no link to increased risk of miscarriage. Before 20 weeks pregnancy additional risks to mum are also very unlikely so it's nothing to lose sleep over. Hope you and your DD are feeling better and don't get too uncomfortable
I know it's probably hard with DD, but make sure you get plenty of rest when you're recovering too; not taking the time to get over chicken pox properly is what led to my fatigue and apparently is notorious for causing long-term issues with fatigue in otherwise healthy people... lots of rest and help from your OH needed!
P.S. Sorry, have just realised I am on the wrong TTC thread, hope no-one minds me butting in0 -
Hugs to ttc40 and Tealover, hope you both feel better today.
Onestep - hope you and dd feel better soon, try to get lots of rest.
AFM - starting down regulating today, first step in my first ivf treatment and got scan and blood test booked for 28 aug so fingers crossed the sniffing works and I can then start stimming.
Hugs to all who need them x0 -
Had my down reg scan yesterday, all looks ok, lining very thin which is good. Got a phone call from the clinic yesterday afternoon with details of when to start stims. Got to wait til Monday  not really sure why, going to phone them back and find out. Whole point of doing the protocol i am on is to guarantee hubby will be here to give a fresh sample. I did wonder whether it is to fit around the BH at the end of the month, which is annoying.
Hope you are feeling a bit brighter today tealover.
Onestep - hope you aren't feeling too bad with the chicken pox.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Quiet weekend on here. Hope everyone is enjoying the closing ceremony.
AFM, I'm feeling a bit low (which isn't like me). AF due in the next couple of days. Did an IC yesterday (again, not like me) & BFN.
I know it's not over until AF arrives, but all the usual symptoms are there. OH gone away for the week which probably doesn't help either. He asked the other day when my period was due - he's never asked before.
As many of us experience, there seems to be cute babies every where.
Was with friends yesterday who have children in the 5 -10 age range. They were saying how pleased they are that things are easier now kids are getting older & they wouldn't want to be at the baby stage again. No-one knows we are trying, but I really wanted to say I would love to be dealing with the baby stage.
Hope everyone is OK.0 -
Morning all,
hope everyone's ok and had a good weekend. What are we supposed to watch now the Olympics have finished??
Got second follicle tracking scan this afternoon. Fingers crossed there's something to look at this time (CD11 now). Had a letter from the FS on friday confirming just how bad the results of the SA were. Only 1.1 million, and 86% not moving, presumed dead. So I'm not sure whether the met & clomid will be helping as it doesn't seem like there's any sperm for the egg to play with anyway.0
