The Trials and Tribulations of Trying to Conceive when its just not happening (12m+)

Hello lovely people, it's good news from me. Scan showed a very blurry (partly because I hadn't got a full bladder, and partly because it was moving so much) baby999, measuring right, hb of 188. I am still a bit overwhelmed and not sure what to do with myself.... had to have the intralipids straight afterwards which gave me a bit of quiet reflective time on my own. Had a cry thinking about my mum who died two years ago next month; she was rooting for me to have another one and saw me have so many losses. Just wish I could tell her.

Anyway, mentalling can stop now until the nuchal scan in two weeks. Thank you all for being so kind and supportive, even while you all have your own sadnesses and terrible long journeys. It means a lot.

EC went fine, 13 eggs collected! We have got to wait til tomorrow now for our first phone call to see about going for blasts or not. Eeek

Hello everyone,

Me and the OH have been ttc for 13 months, and due to my illness, are hoping to get IVF in about 6 months. There is a chance we can conceive naturally, but its unlikely.

Read the majority of the thread, and you all seem so supportive, and can I join?
