Thanks for all the reassuring comments ladies. I know they've seen it all before and tbh I've had worse done, just worried about this one for some reason. On the positive side though, AF is actually pretty light so far for once so hopefully it won't be too bad. Roll on this evening when it's all out of the way!

Re twins... we did some research (ie google lol) on this as we both have twin parents. My dad is non-identical, and OH's mum is identical. It does seem that the jury's still out a bit. We've read so many conflicting theories. OH is convinced that with two sets of twin parents and clomid we're going to end up with quads.... I'm pretty sure it doesn't work like that!!

Just popping in to have a bit of a wibble. Got my 9 week scan tomorrow which is the dealbreaker, according to my consultant. If everything looks ok then my risk of miscarriage falls to the same as any normal woman. Of course I am trying desperately hard not to overthink everything but self-protection keeps kicking in with a dose of pessimism. Not sure how I will be able to try again if this one fails.

You won't have to try again as this is your forever baby:cool:
    Your scan will be fine:)
If not, you can start worrying then, but until then, keep up the PMA:j

Huge hugs Sarah, can only imagine how you must be feeling waiting for the scan. Really hope time between now and scan passes really quickly and that all shows as ok so you can start to relax a little.

Egg collection for me tomorrow, hoping for 8 eggs to try for blasts again but may not happen as my response seems to be dwindling by the year. This is our 9th attempt so it's all old news to me now, in at 10am tomorrow, EC about 11ish, sedation only.
    Good luck:)

    Good luck lisa :)

Hope the scan goes well tea lover and you're not too self conscious :o

Hope the scan tells you everything you want and need it to Sarah. Come back and let us know the good news :)

I had a weird dream last night that mashed together infertility issues and the olympics - as if it was races/events that I kept losing... :o it was a weird one, and depressing too tbh, I couldn't get back to sleep for ages after...

I've lost another 2.5lbs since seeing FS though, so hopefully I'll manage to get into the next bmi point down before going back on (hopefully) 4th sept so I can prove I'm still trying hard, and get that clomid in my hot little hands!

When I first joined this thread there was someone losing weight so they could have their treatment - who was that?
