BZ - hugs hugs, how frustrating, it is no wonder you are feeling down with the bleeding. Please don't feel like it will never happen you have done so well with your weight loss and fs is going to give you clomid and so things are progressing - you will get there but I know that it does help for now and that you want your baby now. Such great news about your levels and being normal - you have achived so much - please don't be hard on yourself :T

Thanks Primmer. I'm just on a rollercoaster trying to get this Clomid and it's getting to me, I guess. I know they can't/won't do anything until I've had this HSG, and that's what I'm most worried about - that this HSG will just drag on forever and ever. :o It's been hanging over me all year and I'm getting sick of it now  I just want it over and done with now, regardless of how much I don't actually want it done :p

How are you going on the treatment?

Fantastic news juju! Hope it all goes swimmingly for you from now on.

Could it be identical twins? When we did our failed IVF, we were told even if one embryo is put back there is still a chance of it splitting and becoming identical twins. I think it might depend on when the transfer took place and be more likely with an earlier transfer than a later one though.

I had one embryo transfer at day 3, 8 cells, they also did assisted hatching which might have helped. My HGC level is 1511 which is high considering I am day16pt. I hope its not eptopic (another thing to worry about). I have read that it could be identical twins with such a high levels and my DH has twins on his side of the family not sure if that makes a difference in ICSI though.

Thanks for all the congrats :T

Yes I did lots different which is what a real surprise. I didn't watch what I eat, I didn't do my relaxing DVD each day, i didn't have accupunture. I didn't have any time off work after transfer, straight back to work that day.

My 4 fresh ICSIs I was so good and so careful on everything about what I ate and 2 weeks off work after and this time I was didn't bother as I only had one embie at grade B and thought it might not survive. Its just shows that all this stuff doesn't necessarily helps. I still continued with my supplements but that was it.

Congratulations juju! We've had a bit of a quiet few weeks with BFP's on the other thread and it's so nice to see some good news.

The male side of the family never has any effect on twins though; obviously it is up to us women how many eggs we release but in your case Identical twins are always totally random and having twins in your family, or even being a twin, doesn't change the likelyhood of it happening. That said, you could be one of the lucky few blessed with identicals! Best of luck and congratulations again - will you have early scans?
