Juju, good luck with the meds - do you get side effects?

I'm not too bad actually, I don't really suffer from down regging like some do, ocassional hot sweat but thats it. The steroids just make really hungry all the time and I get headaches but luckly I'm only on them for 4 weeks unless I get BFP it will be 12 weeks!

I think we missed this window of EWCM, it was there this morning, just checked twice now and nothing... can it change that quickly.. seems to be sticky now... which judging by your post Nicki, means it has happened already.

Is it it EWCM, no matter what the colour if it stretches.. because mine is darker than egg whites (not clear or see through), but still stretchy?
There's a water test. If it turns into a ball and sinks, then it's ewcm:p

It does change very quickly 2b after egg is released but don't forget the egg is fertilisable for 12 hours after it is released so you may still be OK for tonight. It depends on how much each attempt costs. If very pricey then possibly not worth it, if affordable then worth a punt. Put it this way, if you were doing it the old fashioned way with an OH I'd be saying to go for it tonight and have fun :)

Thank you everyone for your help.

We decided to give it a miss tonight. I think had I read your post in time Nicki, I would have been tempted to give it a bash, but I don't feel bad we waited and we can save the money for next month and hope its better timed - plus of course my cycle has been crazy and Im CD60 or something, so who knows if I have actually ovulated!

We were going to try the 2nd donor this time (mix it up with 2 donors in one month - crazy!!), but haven't properly met him - so Its nice to do that next week or the week after with no pressure!

QQ - Thats SO useful re the EWCM, I wish I had known that. So you put it in a glass of water, straight off your finger and if it balls up and sinks, its EWCM?

Anyway - either way I feel like I win this month, if I get pregnant - BIG WIN and if I don't - I get to have a test to find out if I have a blood ovulated this month and try and get my HCG booked in!

Hope you are all having good Friday nights, anybody got anything nice planned?

The staff in radiology were obnoxious yesterday too, when I was trying to sort out the hsg. The didn't get my rereferral card through yet so all I wanted to know was how long after they'd got it would Ibe about to get an appointment. If it's months I won't abstain til then(!) But it if it's in the next few weeks I would. They wouldn't answer the question, then got ruder, and more unhelpful and peed me off to the point of tears :o and because they're in radiology, and it's radiology that do the test, I'm now concerned about them being near my bits at all, if that's the respect they show to my face/ear/voice!:o She started being a shock-wh*re too (as my friends would call it) being really blunt and cutting that if I was pregnant it would kill the fetus etc. I know this, I don't need them to spell it out, that wasn't in question! it was like she was just trying to shock me into submission

I might have to ring the FS department on monday and ask them to do my bidding, cos I cannot deal with another conversation like that again! :(:o

2b - only thing I did last night was hide from the world with a film and my cross stitch! :)

    Hi lovely people,

Could someone help me please? I need to find the best place to purchase IVF meds at the best price (cheap!) in the UK. I have an international prescription and would need the meds posted to a UK address. Has anyone done this and can suggest a good hassle-free pharmacy/company?

    Many thanks in advance.

I know Asda do cheaper IVF drugs which you can collect but can't help any further, sorry.

I was supposed to be going to a christening, an hour away, this morning, but dh haas told them he's not feeling well enough/up to it. I'm soooo relieved, I just couldn't face it (for many reasons besides just the obvious :o) Their chances of our attendance weren't improved when we realised there would be another (gloaty) couple there (that we don't especially like or see other than for births, deaths & marriages (but not ours!)) who recently had twins, and have been harassing us (straight after mil's funeral, several times) about whether we'd make it to their twins' christening....in November!

It wasn't just the baby thing that was putting me off, but I am really glad we're not going - am I horrible?:o

I'm sure you're not horrible BZ, but I assume you are missing the opportunity to see some people who you do like & would like to catch up with.

It's difficult when you are not in a good place, but I'm sure there will be some nice parts of the day you will have missed out on (and don't feel guilty about not going to the other christening if you don't like the couple).

Personally, whilst I look at other babies & wish it was my time I can still think that it's not their baby I want, it's our baby. Also we don't necessarily know their TTC journey (as no-one other than OH & you guys knows mine).

How is DH doing on a day to day basis?

Hope you & DH find something to do today that you enjoy.
