thanks tea lover, I'd be interested to know if it is common in women with PCOS. I might mention it to the doctor, this month is unbearable.Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0

I get bloating in line with hormone changes, and my IBS changes with hormone changes - so the answer, I guess, is a somewhat vague "yes"Ladies, can I ask a question - and this is more for the PCOS sufferers.
Every time after I insem, or perhaps it could just be the same time each month, I have extreme bloating, the whole of my stomach - from under my boobs, to right down below.
Do any other PCO(S) suffers have this? I googled and again people seem to be attributing it to cysts
I think you're supposed to cut down on salt if you bloat, and drink more water, and I was going to say eat oats - but thinking twice, I think that's for wind
I can't remember if you have IBS too?
I had a message to ring my GP receptionist today and when I finally got through they said the GP asked if I was taking Iron. I said "yes, why, am I anaemic?" and she said she couldn't tell me, she didn't know, just that the GP had asked them to ask! Helpful(!) She said she'd be back in touch if the GP wanted to do/say/ask anything else... They rang back about an hour later and said that the GP said to take 3 iron tablets now. So I asked if that was 3 x 100% RDA, and she said she didn't know, it just said " 3 FE tablets" and some vitamin c to help with absorption. They'll retest it in a month...
I flipping knew I was anaemic!
I told him last AF I thought I was anaemic and he just said take/keep taking iron, it'll be fine. So while I'm smug that I was right
I'm also a bit concerned that it was so low, and peeved that I could've been feeling better lately, if he'd confirmed it months ago! "I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

bigzippy - Yes, IBS too - could be that. I too, would be feeling very miffed wtih my doctor inDEED.
My OPKs are definitely getting lighter in colour, but there is still a line - today I have a couple of twinges, and lots of EWCM - does this mean that ovulation is right now, or coming? I am trying to figure out if we should see if our donor is available again this evening...

2b, I can't help you there, sorry.
Btw, Have you given any more thought to IUI or ICSI, since seeing the doc?
Juju, good luck with the meds - do you get side effects?

Now to battle with the HSG plans... The staff was obnoxious yesterday... Hope they're more helpful today "I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
2b if you have EWCM today then you are still in the fertile window. TCOYF says that you ovulate on the last day of EWCM and that is your peak fertility day. When you have ovulated, your CM will switch immediately to cloudy and sticky or dry up completely. So yes, it is definitely worth calling your donor. Good luck.0

I get bloatings after IUIs and FET. I think it's because something was pushed inside the uterus. But only down below, not from under my boobs.Every time after I insem, or perhaps it could just be the same time each month, I have extreme bloating, the whole of my stomach - from under my boobs, to right down below.0 -
