Its so quiet on here at the moment!
My hormone imbalance is (hopefully) sorting itself out, I have had much less spotting this month, and have had a decent period. It seems to have been about 28 days, ish, although I didnt mark exactly when it started last month due to heavy spotting. I am thinking about getting an ov monitor to see if I can work out when I ov to help, but am putting if off a bit cos of the cost. I see my consultant on 16th, so hopefully I can get some answers then, and maybe even start a new round of IVF> Fingers crossed.!

Hi Ladies,
I'm still lurking here and following your stories.
Anyway I was clearing out the spare room and found a couple of books.
HOW TO GET PREGNANT - BY HARRIET GRIFFEY
&
GETTING PREGNANT FASTER - BY DR MARILYN GLENVILLE
If they are any use to anybody I'll stick a random copy in the post to the 1st 2 that PM me with their address.
Baby dust to you all

It is quiet here. Good news on your periods sorting out, lilo & kmckee! 140days - I would have gone mad!!!!
Thanks for the offer of the books, nottlass - I am sure you had some takers for those! I still haven't read through 'taking charge of your fertility' that I bought so long ago. Probably that is why we are still ttc.
No news on my front. I am CD29, just waiting for AF to show up. As this is my first month with Clomid, I am not sure what to expect. I was feeling cramps Sunday evening, and I had a temp drop on Sunday, but then it picked up again yesterday and today. A tiny bit of spotting (if you can call it that even) yesterday morning and this morning, but nothing else.
I have to confess I did a test this morning. As it was 'colouring up' I could see a strongish line appear temporarily, but of course, once it reacted, there was nothing. Oh well, will see when AF decides to show up.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Hi ginvzt, as its ur first month of clomid, can i ask are u suffering any side effects? were u having periods before?
only ask as iv had a semi normal cycle this last time wandered if that would hinder pcos treatment?
I reckon il be feelin what ur feelin when i go to the clinic on monday! the unknown...0 -
I was having regular(ish) periods, about 28 days, although had a few +/-2 days. I was ovulating, and there is nothing wrong according to consultant. I don't have PCOS or anything else..
The side effects - I have been slightly nauseous in the first half of the month, although it might have not been Clomid. I had terrible tummy pains, some to the point, that I would just curl up on the bed an not move for a while, or they would keep me awake in the morning. I didn't really put on weight, but I have been having deserts almost every day... So, didn't loose any either. So far, AF hasn't shown up yet, and although I do have some sort of cramps, I can't feel anything else. I had a bit of spotting (more just a pinkish/brownish streak in CM), so it must be getting ready to show off!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Glad to have some company on here, am feeling soooooo looooooonellllllyyyyy!!!
Good news on the appointment kmckee, thanks for the offer nottslass, I have already got the books, but it is kind of you to offer - and glad to 'see' you, hope you are well and everything is progressing.
Ginvzt, glad you are okay, you must have felt hopeful with the different things happening this month, dont blame you for testing. Will you try again in a few days if AF doesnt show? Clomid sounds like it is painful on your poor tummy, hope that eases off as the months go on!

Hi Lilo! It is lonely here!!!! Where is everyone?
Well, AF was due today, so if no show, I will be testing again (the only way, isn't it?...) Actually, went to Boots at lunchtime to get a test (as used up the one I had this morning), and they had BOGOF on First response ones, so I stocked up.... Not good for my mind, but helps for the wallet.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
