Angela i hope ur friend is ok and im sure knowing she has a great friend wil make it that little bit easier,
my best friend lost her little girl a couple of months ago now, she was 10 days overdue. She went in for scan the week before and everythin was fine, was offered to be started and declined and said she will come out when ready, then to go into labour several days later and by the time she got to the hospital they found no heartbeat
    Life is cruel

Well im somethin like 20dpo if ff was right and i have ov (never sure)! AF was meant to show wed just gone according to ff, but my temps have dropped off over the past couple of days so maybe its on the way! Which is good i guess if it is means i have OV :j time will tell.

Hope all is ok with everyone else, last day of work today for me then off till tues x

Well, at least it is Friday! I am really ready for this week to be over. Feeling rather down today - probably the weather, it keeps raining the whole day here.

Managed to sort out the washing machine, so have been doing washing all day. Came done to the kitchen to a puddle of water on the floor - it seems filling in pipe became loose at connection with the water supply. Well, at least I have managed to sort it out myself for now and no need for new washing machine or plumber call out.

Hopefully going to see a friend on Sunday to congratulate with finished the studies. So, need to sort out a present tomorrow. Although, the way I feel now, I just want to curl up in my bed and hide from everyone. I am on CD25 today on the first Clomid. Even though I believe it is not going to help, I also hope for some luck. Yesterday was 2 years exactly since we started the ttc journey... Nice anniversary to celebrate, isn't it?..

    Sorry, I am really down...

Huge hugs being sent your way ginvztXXXXXXXXXXXX It does feel like a long hard slog sometimes, doesnt it. Iam glad your washing machine is sorted and hope you have a nice day on Sunday.

knckee999, how absolutely devastating for your friend. TBH Im speechless, how do you pull yourself up from that one? Life certainly is very very cruel.

Hope everyone has a good weekend

Oh Ginvzt, I'm sending you a big hug and lots and lots of luck. You are doing so very well you know and your time will come hun, so just accept the down days as being one of those things and try to turn them in to good days whenever you get the opportunity to. Thinking of you, x

At last I have a little something to report.....don't get too excited, I'm not pg :D

I have decided to knuckle down and shift this weight at long last!! :D
We had a good chat at the weekend about not having any kids yet and it seems to have done me some good. My mind set has shifted from being grateful to be here to making the most of this second chance :j (though I am still grateful of course)

Only been dieting/cutting down for a week but it's going ok.

Though the last couple of days I have been getting AF type pains/cramps on and off. I am only on CD25 and usually the pain doesn't start until AF is in full flow.
I am telling myself that it's my body going cold turkey because it's not getting the junk it is used to getting everyday :rotfl:

Good job on attacking the weight, shelly! I am sort of trying too, but one week it can be down 1.5 - 2 kg, and next up by just as much if not more for me (what week - I can have that in a day!). Well, at the moment I am putting it all down to Clomid. Excuses...

I'll just go and make that crumble I was going to make last week....

Thanks all for kind works. I know I will get though, but some of these 'down' days really get to me. Maybe I'll just go and something else, like banging at the piano, or playing with the sewing machine... If only my cat would let me (he spent most of the day on my lap with head hooked on my arm - can't imagine that being very comfortable, as it is right arm and I need to type and use mouse all day - working from home).

  • Well done on your decision shelly. I am trying to tell myself that there is no point in having a life if I dont make the most of it, but thats not easy! So well done you on having a positive mindset.

Thanks ladies. It's taken me long enough to get to this mind set so I hope it works :o
If it doesn't.....at least I will know I tried.
