How pregnant are you? Will you get an early scan?
Ermm, well I was inseminated on 20/02 (memorable as it was my SILs 18th birthday!), just checked - officially I am 4w today
Yes, will have a close eye kept on me by the ACU, another blood test next Mon to ensure levels rising then a scan 4 to 5 weeks after dissemination to make sure its in the right place and to hopefully hear a heartbeat.
So hope this is the first of a good spell on here xxxProud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -

Thank you Nicki and RUnnerduck. My first period since the mc started today, so I guess that means we can start trying this month.
Thanks also for that link Nicki; I followed the trail through to the book review 'is your body baby-friendly?' - I must admit that I have seen that book many times and ignored it because I assumed it was just another standard book about eating the right stuff and not drinking and taking supplements. I had no idea it was based in immunology - have just ordered it from Amazon. Very badly titled book!0 -

Just thought it might be worth some of you looking into. Also, has anyone else got any experience with celiac??
You don't say if you do, but if you have IBS there is also a chance it could be linked with endometriosis, which can cause IBS.
I have mild endo and also have discovered I have some rather obscure food intolerances (such as potato) which contribute to my IBSProud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -
Congratulations Maddie! Wishing you all the very best for a sticky bean

Congratulations Maddie! Good news for someone (at last!) Glad your patience and perseverance has paid off.
++++++++
I had a third follicle scan today - got 1x15mm, 1x14mm and 1x13mm plus a few smaller ones.
I've to take the Ovitrelle tomorrow, then it's the dreaded 2ww (technically 2+2ww.)
More Gonal F first tonight.
Concentrating on dropping a few pounds - took the cake I made into work yesterday, too much temptation at home..0 -
Maddie, that is fabulous news, congratulations. Let us know how the scan goes

Chickpea, those follies are growing :j
Epsil, DH and I had wondered the same too. Its worthwhile trying and good luck !
Sarahs999 - i agree with the others, when i had mc, drs advised to wait for first period after the mc and then start trying again - gives your body a chance to recover too.
Whattodonow, welcome, hope the drs can investigate for you and give you some answers. We are here to listen and support in the meantime.
Hope everyone else is well xx0 -
My PMA is giving way to PMT

My sore boobs have disappeared and feel very snappy at the mo. Getting anxious because when I had my bfn this happened then too and AF arrived 5days before OTD. I'm 8 days from OTD now
Trying my hardest to stay positive but really want a duvet day

Hi - I don't know if this is the right board for me to write on but I don't think there is a board for my problems. I want to have another baby but suffer from a medical condition which means this may cause irreversible damage to my own body if I do so. So although technically I can get pregnant I don't know if it's worth the risk. I'm getting some medical advice, but if they say it will cause big problems for me (I may go blind) then I may aswell get sterilised.
Sorry if I am not on the right board but I guess i'll be sort of infertile if the docs say I shouldn't get pregnant, which is hard because i could just ignore them and get pregnant straight away, but I don't want to ruin my own life just to create another.
I'm seeing a consultant next week. There may be things they can do to help, but at the end of the day there is a risk my eyes could deteriorate if I have another baby as this happened in my last pregnancy, and I don't know if it's worth it. Then again I could get away with it and no further damage. No one can tell for sure until or unless I get pregnant.
I don't know what to do and feel so sad, we were looking forward to having another baby this year and then I have suddenly started questioning whether that would be a really bad idea if it ruins my own health.
Part of me wishes I did not have this decision to make, either I play safe and don't have a baby and always wonder what if, or I take the risk and live to seriously regret it if I end up permanently disabled.0
