    Hi everyone
Sorry I haven't been around much.. Just lurking instead of posting. Think I'm 1 dpo.. Not entirely sure as I've deliberately not done opk's this month. I've been trying to be better with my eating & fitness too; I use myfitnesspal too :D. So I've been to the gym 2 days running  !! The couch to 5k podcast is brilliant. I'm not a natural runner by any means but I can now run for 8 mins, walk for 5 mins & run for another 8 mins - something I never ever thought possible!

Chickpea fingers crossed for good growth over the next few days

  • Hi ladies

My its been busy in here! I'll try and catch up later xxx

We took ourselves away for the weekend at the last minute. I'm sure The Lake District is like chicken soup for the soul! Nearly stopped bleeding now, still signed off work, but feeling much better than I expected.

We've decided that we will give it 6 months before we go down the IVF/FET route. DH is all for jumping straight back in and making an appointment, but I surprised my self by saying no!

There's part of me that says there's hope we can do it naturally now, and that the Snow Babys (Frozen embryos) are our last chance, so in my mixed up brain, if theres less pressure as we have them as a back up plan, then 6 months will fly by, and we'll have more chance of success.

I'm the big 40 next year:eek:, so theres less and less chance of it happening, and the embyros are from when I was 36(Which is good 'cos they're not aging!) . So that would then be a natural place to draw a line under everything, and make more sense than doing IVF now, and then trying naturally afterwards?

    Confused yet? DH is!:rotfl:
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before

It makes sense to me, Winky! You have proved you can get pg naturally, six months seems a reasonable period - and, as you say, while you might be ageing, the frosties aren't! Good luck either way!

So, CD11 and I have 2 x 12 mm follicles, 2x10 mm and several x 8 mm on the right and zilch on the left.

    They look lovely, as ever.

More scanning on Weds, when we should be getting close to the business end of this month.

    +++++

Trying to be good foodwise but for some lunatic reason I made a raspberry and almond cake yesterday and it's kind of preying on my mind now..

Hi everyone - sorry to read such bad news recently.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried using syringes instead of DTD naturally and whether it can be recommended?

We were thinking of trying it to see if it helps. My wife has bad endometreosis and thought just trying to use the syringe for a couple of months instead of us DTD naturally may help. I know we're clutching at straws - we're looking to try anything that may help.

When my wife fell pregnant naturally last year it was through us DTD naturally and so we know it works that way (although we subsequently lost the baby). It's just that we don't want to wait another 9 years for a miracle to happen again (assuming we're that lucky again).

    It there anything anyone recommends?

    Thanks...

    Goes back to lurking...

    Congratulation Maddie!

Epi, I don't think it makes any difference, but we considered it at one point when it became (TMI!) difficult to perform in the bedroom department! Because of the pressure we found when we were under when I was on Clomid, and we had to perform NOW or miss the chance for a month, understandably DH had a couple of occassions when due to the expectations it was hard work (or not pardon the pun!)

That was one of the worst points in our journey.

    Good luck xxx
