Cd1 for me so have started hrt. Im on Climaval this time 3 times a day. Have to ring care up monday to book a scan to see how lining is getting on. OH said lets hope its as beautiful as last time!
I know where you're coming from Onestep re DTD. Its become just that - doing the deed. When we first started ttc 3 years ago, I was determined I wasnt going to let that happen. But 38 ovulation periods have gone by and its difficult not to get clinical about it all.
As for how our relationship is coping with it, we are absolutely fine on a general day-to-day basis. As soon as the treatment is mentioned there is a change in my OH. Dont get me wrong, he really does want to do this, but this cycle is all we can afford and the only reason for that is my wonderfully generous family. He knows if this doesnt work, we cant afford another go and that tears him up. Unfortunately, when he is stressed he gets very snappy and sullen. And he isnt great at putting how he feels into words so its all very stressful.
So I try not to mention it too often, we just get on with it. And I certainly dont talk about how I feel, and how upset I was that the fresh cycle didnt work. The way he looks at it, he cant give me what I want (even though we both have fertility issues) and because he has 2 sons, maybe he feels he cant relate to how I feel.
Also, not one person I know has asked how I feel. About anything relating to the icsi or the upcoming fet. If this was someone else, I would say maybe they dont want to upset you or dont know how to broach the subject, but in my family, nothing is out of bounds and never has been. We are the most open and honest family I have ever known. It just feels a bit weird tbh
Which is why I come on here! And Im glad I do otherwise I would go insane. You're a lovely bunch of people
And no I havent been drinking!!! Though I could murder a whisky and coke or 5:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -

People are strange c4b.Who knows what they're thinking? Maybe they find it too difficult to broach, maybe they don't want to upset you, maybe they just thnk you're fine and relaxed about it.
No-one that hasn't been there understands really. In my experience, no-one has offered sympathy or even interest in my situation unless I've been openly crying my eyes out.
Get pg on the other hand, and everyone cares/wants to know!!
Always seems ironic that pg people get babies AND presents AND concern/sympathy while the infertile get to go home empty handed...
Oh well - another go represents a really good chance for you...keeping everything crossed, as ever!0 -
So after ovulating early (CD13), I'm having cramping all the time. Still got another 13 days before I test (and I won't crack early this month!)0

Thanks Chickpea, was feeling a bit 'woe is me' when I wrote that!
I had cramping / af type pains all the way from cd17 to cd26 this time. It really does feel like everything is magnified since I started on the drugs all those months ago. In fact, since I was on Clomid over 18 months ago. Makes you wonder what all the drugs actually do to us long term!:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -
How're you doing juju?? Sending sticky vibes and lots of positive thinking your way
. Good luck for the interview tomorrow.
Chickpea hope the cramping is a sign of wonderful things to come

we have just got to have all the bloods, virology, amh etc and hubbys semen test done again, as they said they could have got them from the heath but as it was too long ago we needed them done again, our doctors have been brilliant, they held a meeting and all the partners agreed to do what they can for us, so we have had it all done there and i will take the results to the clinic
i really hope your luck changes juju fingers crossed for everything xx0 -
That's really good runner that they will do all that on the nhs, saves a few pounds for sure.
