Well, had my HSG this morning, just about fainted with the pain, they told porkies when they said it was like a period cramp! errr no worse! :p The doctor that did it mention something about leakage but when he was talking to me he said things looked fine, so not sure, will have to wait to hear from consultant bit weird looking at your insides. So, it is looking like I need to get the extra weight off, but hopefully shouldn't be too long before I can make the call to the consultant and get clomid. OH and I had a discussion the other night and wondered if my problem had been on the pill for 10 years and that my body was just taking its time getting back to normal. Got a delivery of the postergone cream last week so now I have had this, I will get back on it! Just need less stress, not easy but have dealt with the work issue, but things still really bad with father in law:(.

Hugs to those that need it. Off to cinema this afternoon to see star wars in 3D (hubby big fan)!:rotfl:

anmarj, (((hugs))) for your HSG, mine didn't hurt at all though, but then again, it did nothing for my fertility, so fingers crossed your HSG worked:cool:

    Fingers crossed Juju & Onestep:)

    Chickpea,
    good luck with your 2ww:o

Anmarj, I feel your pain. I hated my HSG and in fact I found the whole thing so hard that I couldn't go through with it and had to go back another day to have it under sedation! I have had some very bad gynae experiences and it's made me horribly wimpish and irrational when I have to have procedures done. I usually sob during smears!

I usually faint :o but once I knew we were going to have all the fertility investigations I got a self-hypnosis cd from amazon 'fear of internal exams' or something.. I listened to it every day for 3 weeks before my hsg, and I haven't fainted since! Not sure whether it's really helped or not, but you never know :p

Anmarj ouch! Hopefully that means you'll be super-fertile for the next couple of months then :D;)

I'm going to try *really* hard not to test til Friday, or Saturday if I can hold off that long. The clinic said to test on Monday :o

How did the interview go juju? When are you going to test??

thank you everybody, the lady in the xray couldn't believe how supporting OH was, he never came round but waited in the waiting room and he inisted that I take the day off as well so if the news was bad we could deal with together... thankfully it did not come to that.:)

I am due to test on Friday but I am waiting till Saturday so OH is here to support me. Last time I did it when he wasn't here and it was a big mistake. If we do it Friday then he will have to rush off to work and I will be here in pieces probably (again).

Interview went so well they offered me the job on the spot, not sure when i start but could be Monday so just need a positive result on Saturday to finish off a good week.

Hope you manage to hold off till the weekend onestep - I know its hard I have tested early all the other times so I am trying to do things differently, like that makes a difference!
