    Congrats Sarah, sending you lots of sticky vibes and may this one hold on very tightly. Good Luck. x

    Had my last scan today and have 17 follicies, my best yet, some maybe a bit small and might not grow much more and there is one huge one that might go over but feeling very pleased with myself. Extra stim drug for tonight (more money) and Egg collection on Thurs.

    Hope everyone else is doing ok too.

    FX'd Juju, sounds very promising indeed!! We are just finalising our TTC plan for the next 2-3 years (annoying when if things were different it could be 2-3 month plan!) So I hope to post that in a day or so. The hysteroscopy showed no problems at all and while that sounds great, I was pretty disapppointed as it gave us nothing to look at and fix, nothing to blame for the ridiculous amount of failed cycles :-(

    Onwards and upwards though I guess.

    Anybody here done a specific IVF/TTC diet? I reckon I have 6 months to prepare for our next go and want to get fit/get healthier/get all the good stuff that they recommend and lose about a stone, i'm only 64kg's now and am 5ft6 but I have a very small frame and I feel yucky.

    Congrats Sarah. Keeping everything crossed that everything is plain sailing from now on.

    I'm having a bit of a lazy day - well, a little bit of cleaning and a little bit of lounging! Just read about effects of Vit D on fertility - might change my plans for March and do the Algarve instead of Bruges!

    ++++++++

    Lisa - I need to shift a few pounds too. More than you do! I gave up on Atkins - wasn't working - so I'm back on plain old hunger. See how that goes. I have some motivation at least - a really chubby girl I know at work has shifted some weight - she's still big, but I can see a difference. If she can do it - and she's been really heavy ever since I've known her - there's no excuse for me!!
  • QQ - Sorry to hear about this cycle, hopefully March is your time xx

    JuJu - Good luck for Thursday!

    C4B - That is fab news, I would let the relatives pay if they are offering :) xx

    Im 8 days into my 2ww now, still no symptoms - even my boobs have stopped being as sore - grr they were my only hope!! I know it means nothing till I go for my test (or dreaded AF shows up)...

    They weren't your only hope! Sore boobs after IVF are as a result of the hcg injection to trigger ovulation and are nothing to do with whether it's worked or not. Stop being naughty with your SS!

    I'm sorry QQ.
    Chickpea there's a healthy eating type group of MSEers over on facebook, I can send you the link if you like? I've just been told to 'step away from the chocolate cake' - which is now residing in individual slices in the freezer :D
    Congratulations Sarah - sending lots of sticky vibes

    2 days til my scan seeing on how my ovaries are responding. I'm feeling thirsty all of the time, and a bit bloated. My diet has gone for a burton this week, I've put 2lb on :( but I think (hope) it's the menopur.

    Lisa I'm not on any specific diet, but one of my friends did a complete fertility diet - no artifical sweeteners, flavourings, gluten and wheat free, no alcohol, all the usual supplements as well as a few novel ones. She had IUI once, and now has a beautiful baby girl :)
