Ugh. Am never going to get used to that!! The 300 of supre-whatever was fine, did that in my tummy no problems. Tried the menopur and the syringe stuck, & I started to feel faint.. So i took it out, had a moment, & then DH did the injection in my bum. He loved doing it! I think it made him feel involved actually. How I'm supposed to do that volume I do not know, but I guess we'll find out. Just as well DH is home a day early..

  • JuJu - so sorry to hear about the liquidation. I've been through that once before. In addition to submitting the claim for statutory redundancy, ensure you sign on for job seekers as soon as you can so you don't miss out.

Sometimes nothing seems to go right, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope that it's a very short tunnel for you.

Thanks for all your kind messages. I am contacting Job Centre tomorrow (after my scan) and I have a big form to fill out to send to the Government and hope to get some redundancy from them.

Onestep, you will get use to the needles I promise, I still struggle a bit now and this is my 4th time but then again I am needle phobic. I let my DH do the first ever one but them found it easier myself as I could then sense the pain. If you got the same Menpour needles I have then they are rubbish and I switched to the ones I use for my Buserlin.

    Good luck. x

QQ, when is EC? we could be 2ww pals!! or are you staying off the board?
Egg collection was today, but they couldn't find the egg on the lead follicle and they only got 4 immature ones. It's one of those mild IVF/IVM thingy, and they only do FET using blastocyst, so I think this cycle is a bust:o

I did similar last month, and they collected 6/7 mature eggs, but only one made it to early blast, and arrested:(

    I'm lurking these days tho:o
Bad news for me today just been told that I have been made redundant today and the company is going into liquidation and I am not getting paid this month!! Couldn't happen at a worse time with IVF and just after Christmas so i am skint. Can't afford to get stressed and worried about it now got to look after my body but its not going to be easy.

Life is so sh*t at times, and this is one of those times I am sure I will have another one in about 3 weeks too.!

    Hey everyone!
I had my 17th-in-a-row BFN this morning... i knew it anyway as having cramps for a week now.

Today i am finding it really hard to keep it together. No particular reason. It is just a struggle, i want to curl up and cry myself into oblivion; im sure it doesnt help.....

How do you all cope with things? What do you find helpful to just lift your head up and keep going?

You poor love. It's heartbreaking isn't it. There's not much you can do when you feel so low. Try to remember that tomorrow will be a little brighter. And what's wrong with having a good cry? Totally warranted in the circumstances I'd say. Plus it always makes me feel better.

All you can do is pick yourself up and try again. Try to keep busy, that's the best thing x.
