    Sorry AF arrived Maddie :(

Gin - have you mentioned about your tiredness to your acupuncturist? My OH has acupuncture for non TTC related reasons & sometimes it really knocks him out & he's had to go back the next day for a few energising needles to get his energy levels back up.

    M :)

Yes, she knows about my tiredness. I am always quite tired in the evenings, but last week was beyond anything. It was a difficult few days at work with trying to keep client happy and not offend the colleague (much senior to me) who was not doing his job and stepping in his shoes to some extent. I had much easier over the weekend (still working, but with a different guy), and just extra easy yesterday, when I only had to sit-in in the meeting and had a fantastic view of the stormy sea....

I have a scan in a couple of hours, so I decided not to go to the office before the appointment. I might have a friend coming over to stay tonight, so spent couple of hours last night and an hour or so this morning tidying up the house. Ok, it is still not perfect, but it is better that it was before - had no time or energy for cleaning as I had no day off since bank holiday. I don't mind, as I have 'earned' 4 days of time in lieu, so I can have most of next week off or the first week of October - perfect for my 2ww (hopefully).

Result!!!! All that medication mixing and so on paid of (well to this point anyway). When last cycle I only had 3 follicles on Day 7 of the stimulation, I now have about 12-15 (8-10 on one side and 4-5 on the other). They are still small, most under 10mm, so need to grow a bit more... But it is good!

Lots of water (to avoid OHSS!) protein and a warm hot water bottle on your tummy at night required now to get those follies growing.
    Great result so far!

That's a lot:shocked: I had 19 collected and had OHSS, so be careful.
I was told sports drinks are better than water. And protein rich foods are good too.

    Good luck!:j
  • Great news Gin!! :j

i need your help if possible ladies

i have been for my check up today for the results of my HSG and scan

The doctor said everything is fine dye came out as it should and the scan looked fine also but he did say that OH SA is basically the same as 3 months ago and that his morphology is 6% on both and should be 15% and mobility isnt great either...now OH already has a teenage child so we know that he can produce albeit over 13 years ago

now they have given me clomid to start for 3 months i think i have to go and see my doctor this friday and then take the 21 day bloods for 2 consetitive cycles and OH is going to be refered to a urologist to see whether they can improve his morphology

now the questions ref clomid - my OH doesnt really want me to take this but i have told him its our only hope before IVF unless it happens inbetween

i dont get very wet around OV should i start drinking grapefruit juice upto OV or take the cough syrup? i dont want to put anyone out but i dont really want IVF but obv if i have to i have to i believe clomid messes up the CBFM but can i still use OPK? and i am thinking of temping for the next 3 months also just to have all angles covered iykwim

    Thanks for reading xxx

Morph doesn't sound bad, what was his motility?
i dont get very wet around OV should i start drinking grapefruit juice upto OV or take the cough syrup?
I did both:p I know grapefruit can affect certain medications but I don't think Clomid is one. One glass in the morning is fine I think.

    It's the last resort:o

CBFM may give your more High days, but Peak comes OK.
    OPK works too.
and i am thinking of temping for the next 3 months also just to have all angles covered iykwim
No probs with temping & clomid either.

It's only when you take hcg trigger injection (prior to ov) that CBFM & OPK is useless (hcg injection = positive OPK & Peak CBFM).

    Good luck:)

    Motility doesn't sound so good.
You need a certain amount for IUI to be successful.
    How was his count?

They usually start you off with clomid, to make your eggs more attractive:p, then onto IUI to give your DH some help, and bypasses the need for cm, then onto IVF.

Some like to cut to the chase, and go straight to IVF so not to waste more time:o

    Hope clomid works for you:)
  • his count was 99 million which sounds good but to be honest when you google morphology and motility it doesnt says its THAT bad....

    ive got headache lol :rotfl:
