Thanks, juju. I am doing them in the evening, so it always seems to be taking forever, and I want to go to sleep (my drg time is 9pm - I set it myself)

9pm is clever:cool: I picked morning last time, so no sleeping in late for me during weekends:o

Hi everyone, sorry I am not keeping up very well but just popping in to ask for luck for my first IUI results tomorrow. :o

Am I likely to get the results there and then or to have to ring up later in the day? Would much rather be told with oh than to have to ring up from work :undecided

Good luck ginvzt for Tuesday, although i'll prob have popped back by then...

Oh and yesterday had loads of weird brown discharge, sure the weird texture is due to the progesterone gel but still lots of weird brown stuff. Should I take that as good or bad or just ignore it?:huh:

Evidently wasn't a good sign since AF has now arrived. Least that's taken away my nerves about tomorrow. Got two parties next weekend so might ask for permission to drink - after all my next treatment will likely be delayed whilst they sort out this polyp

    hi all

I am not sure i should post here but did not want to read, intrude on your thoughts and run..

I just strayed into this thread as reading your posts does bring back memories of how stressful ivf and other treatments our...

i am not trying to conceive (although i am not Not trying)...

but just wanted to post my best wishes and good luck to you all..

My DD aged 7 now - was conceived on my 3rd go at IVF at the age of 39 (they put back 3 embryoes each time as they said they were low quality) but on the 3rd go one of the low quality ones stuck....

I had accupuncture and drank 4 litres of water and was on a high protein diet for my last cycle...

and then DS was born 13 months after DD as a complete shock....when i was 40

so keep positive.....it does work......i wish you all the most success...i do remember posting on threads like this on infertility boards....

    good luck

Keeping positive is a bit tricky to come by when you have had 8 failed cycles over 10 years but appreciate the sentiment all the same. Good to hear it worked for you.

Maddie, sorry to hear your outcome, hope they fix you up, you can have a good old blow out at the party then get ready to go again.

    Fingers crossed for you.

Thiking of all going through treatment atm, and everyone who is doing it the fun way also :D

Doing it the fun way is a no go for us, that isn't ever going to make a baby, but it is fun to practic all the same :o;)

  • Hi ladies,
So, I have hyperstimulated! Trigger shot tonight and egg collection on Tuesday morning. I'm so disappointed as there is only about 6 big follicles but lots and lots of smaller ones. They said they will monitor me during the week to see if I am fit for embryo transfer otherwise they will freeze them, I hope it doesnt come to that.

    Hope everyone is well.

Sorry Maddie AF arrived, I agree have a blow out then get back in the saddle, so to speak.

It only takes one good one Tiny so hope you will be lucky and that they don't have to freeze, keep drinking that water. Fingers crossed for you.

I was always told to do my stim drugs in the morning which was a pain but next time I might be a bit more flexible.

Wishing you lots of luck. x

    Lisa, keep that beak up.

I forgot to ask this morning if I'd be ok to drink. Feel like maybe I shouldnt, but I guess so long as I'm sensible about how much I drink I should be ok. Will be a while until my next treatment anyway.

TinyPablo, hope u are feeling ok. 6 follicles sounds alright, like juju says, u only need one

  • Sorry for AF Maddie - it sucks, hope the next go is successful.

    ++++++

Nothing new here - not much to say on the subject really! CD27, waiting for AF - and I know AF is coming, BFN and familiar cramps..!

Starting 2nd round of drugs on CD2 this month coming, after a month off. Then I'll do the same again one more time - month off, month on...then it really might just be time to call this 'active trying' business a day. Coz it just aint happening!

    Sorry AF arrived Maddie :(

Gin - have you mentioned about your tiredness to your acupuncturist? My OH has acupuncture for non TTC related reasons & sometimes it really knocks him out & he's had to go back the next day for a few energising needles to get his energy levels back up.

    M :)
