Good luck with the ICSI JG.

My friend had it due to MF probs and it worked for her first time - is yours NHS or private? (Sorry if you already said). Not that it will make any difference to the treatment you get. If anything though,I have preferred the NHS treatment I have had.

Mind you, the injections I have been getting are private, but it's from the same NHS team that I had been seeing, so it sort of feels continuous. Plus, I haven't seen a single bill yet, which contrasts nicely to the impression I had of Midlands Fertility Services, which were not shy in demanding cash (including some I didn't owe them!)

    ++++++

So I tested this morning - BFP! Well, of course it would be, because the HCG is still in my system from the trigger shot on Saturday! Still, there was a certain satisfaction in seeing a second line on an HPT for the first time in 2 years! It'll be another 10 days or so before I can test in earnest.

I did the trigger shot Sat at 10pm (between courses at a dinner party). We DTD Sat afternoon, Sun am and night, and the same yesterday. It's all over now for another month - thank god, there is such a thing as too much of a good thing.

I wish I knew what was going on inside me. I wish I had a dildocam permanently embedded in there and a handheld monitor like an Ipad showing what my eggs are doing.

How much would one of those ultrasound monitors cost anyway? I suppose Christmas is coming up...

Good luck chickpea, I quite fancy one of those ultrasound monitors too. Hopefully you have all you can and you will get your BFP.

Good luck juicy on your ICSI, its difficult on who to tell as I have been in the same boat and didn't want people keep asking how I was.

    Nothing going on with me.

Ohhh another BFP here!! Also from a HCG shot yesterday :-(
I had to test just to see it though.
Ice babies all coming out of the freezer today, please wish them good luck in thawing, we only have 3, frozen at one day old so it really is questionable how many (if any) we can transfer. I'm allowed 2 put in so hoping for that but 1 would be great.

Gonna be a good month for this thread, come on ladies we can do it!

Oooo exciting to see any BFPs, even if they are from trigger shots!! :D good luck to Lisa & chickpea!!

Think the stress of the HSG made me O a little early (bit odd but hey) so I think I'm 4/5 DPO. Managed to DTD at the right time at Big Chill (which was excellent!) & today we're off to a campsite in Wales. Weather forecast not great but it'll be a break in any case.

Fingers crossed for a flurry of true BFP's on here very very soon

Good luck Lisa I hope they all thaw and are really good. It has to be your time.

When I have my next ICSI I am going to see if I can get a BFP after the trigger shot just so I can see what it looks like, as yet I never have

:rotfl: @ the trigger shot testing...I would soooo do the same!!

Good luck a thousand times over to Lisa and Chickpea and everyone else! I really hope there is a good batch of bfp's this month.

Selfishly, I hope I'm one of them although if I'm relying on my cbfm I wont be because I keep forgetting to poas with fmu...oops, I'm a bit out of practice! Oh well, only cd6 so hopefully it wont have thrown it completely off sync.

I have never used FMU for OV testing, I thought 2nd or third of the day was meant to be best? But I don't do much testing these days, not even that tiniest bit of a miracle natural chanc for us anymore!

As of 2.15pm we have 2 embryos growing nicely, the other wasn't progressing but they will still check it just in case it suddenly wakes up.
Next call Thursday, transfer hopefully Friday. It is really weird as we are technically risking going to blasts with only 3 embryos to start with but the clinic seem to think that it is for the best. Gonna be a long 3 days!

Completely off topic but i'm hoping none of you lovely ladies (and men possibly!) are affected by the madness that is taking over major cities across the UK.

I am quite concerned here, we are only a small town but have had many problems with the EDL and MDL here in the past, and from what I have seen it is all just an excuse for a fight.

I am all for a peacefull protest, even if I do not agree or understand with the issue being protested on but the violence and destruction is insane, the first lot of footage that was on the news made me think of old footage of Northern Ireland but more recent pictures it looks like a complete war zone.

    Stay safe

Congratulations on your (fake) BFP Lisa! My husband thinks I'm a bit of a saddo, I'm glad someone else out there understands the excitement of a second line, even if it is just a mirage!

Anyway - we are all hoping your icebabies make it through the process and you get a proper BFP soon. C'mon little guys..!
