    I have only done the short protocol Gin, but if I go ahead this year I will be on full protocol. With short they dont take control of your cycle, they just stimulate it as is, iyswim. DHEA was what Zita recommended to try and increase the chances of IVF working. Hope you manage to get is straight in your head and happy with what you are doing, that is so important.

    Congratulations JuJu! Hope you have a brilliant day and a fun holiday!

    ++++++++++++

    Well, I'm suffering from some sort of hormone rebound - first month off Clomid and I have broken out in massive spots on my face. Lovely!

    Off to London tomorrow for a weekend away with some theatre and museums - have a good weekend everybody!

    Congratulations jujugaboo!!

    Edited to add latest results:
    Progesterone 47.2 so good
    AMH was given as normal, but the receptionist couldn't decipher the numbers which is v frustrating. She's going to do me a print out for Monday so hopefully I'll find out the proper number then. So that's it until the 2nd Aug now for the HSG. CD26 atm, AF due Sunday. Temps still up but that's typical for me, they don't usually drop until the day.

    Hope everyone is ok ((hugs))

    hi Ladies, hope you don't mind me popping over from the ttc thread for a little advice!!!
    Had two lots of 21day bloods that showed v low progesterone, GP has referred us to fertility/infertility clinic - appointment a week on Tues...just wondered what to expect at this appointment - will anything be done or will it just be talking with the docs?
    thanks for any advice

    Every clinic is different it might just be a chat but on my first appointment I had an internal scan to check my ovaries. Good luck.

    On my first appt we had a history taken, & then an (unexpected!) internal. Good luck with it though :)

    ok, thanks. I'm sorry for asking such a silly question, but us the 'internal' done with instruments or hands?

    Both countrybum!!!! And if you are really lucky they do scans too (also known as dildocam!) Dont worry, concentrate on a patch of ceiling and recite your shopping list. It is soon over, and although it seems sooo personal to us, they see many every day. Believe me when I say this - you get used to it!

    Although on the positive side, you may not need one, they may just look to sorting out your levels to start with - you never know, they are a strange bunch gynaes, they all do something different.

    Lilo - oh, welcome by the way!
