I was away from this board because I had a 6 weeks break from TTC (away from DH for work:o).
But I'll be with him from tomorrow:j
I have Chinese medicine consult on Wednesday:) I wonder if my tongue looks any better after 6 weeks of drinking disgusting tea:p

I know that you know your own body, and that it's not your first time etc, but could it be too early?! How many days past ET are you?

hi lisa, no don't shut up i'm 11 days past et with a 4 day embryo, which i think i should get an accurate result, and last time i 'felt' pregnant, this time i just have a dull ache in my stomach which i think is from the pessaries.


how are you now, are you starting another treatment yet?

cd 14 here, think I O'd yesterday ish, so DH was here :T (he works away, so isn't always!). Got blood tests (Prog & AMH) booked for next Monday. Am going to try super hard to have tons of PMA in this 2ww although that's easier said than done, of course

We've had a letter for the next NHS appointment - October :eek: so I've phoned the PA and said we'll go private for the HSG - which of course we won't need because I'm super fertile and am going to get pregnant this month... ;):o

Give me a day or two and reality will have kicked back in!

i hope you don't mind me asking, but what was wrong with your tongue? I ask, because i went to a Chinese consultant years ago and she told me I had a hormone imbalance by just looking at my tongue. She was correct, but I never went back for any treatment as was under review at the hospital.

They said it (me?) was bloated, cold & damp. Also hormone imbalance. He took my pulse too.

I've been prescribed some disgusting Chinese tea, and I've been drinking it twice a day for the past 7 weeks. Hope it's done something:o

I'm bloated because the body can't get rid of water efficiently (because it's damp). Also cold uterus = late/irregular ov. I need to warm it up. Also need to get blood flowing more efficiently around the middle. He didn't say anything but I assume exercise?:p

I was told about the blood flowing thing too, at first I tried chilli as I read that will get my blood pumping, also it was my excuse not to exercise, but I gave up after the first try!

I have visible purple/brown patches on my tongue, it looks like its bruised and by just looking at it they could tell I had hormone problems - very clever.

I hope your tea has worked

Sorry it's not looking good runner - you've had such a run of bad luck, I hope it improves soon. Law of averages says it should.

Hi, is anyone here taking Synarel as the first part of their IVF treatment? I started this on 4th July and the literature I was given by the clinic said to expect my period 7-10 days after starting it. No sign of my period yet so I was wondering if it can sometimes take longer to come as everyone is different? I'm worried it's not working properly but want to hold off phoning the clinic until tomorrow so I don't sound like an anxious crazy person!
