Hello
I had two 21 ovulation test (one month after the other) now I was fairly confident that I was ovulating (had all symptoms and get regular bleeds) only to find out today I am not. I just don't understand it and feel so so sad.
My periods dont fall on the same day every month, but I was under the impression because I was having regular periods I was ovulating.
Thanks for reading
Hi, they test at day 21 cos they assume you have ovulated by then. It's quite possible that you ovulate later, so the test wouldn't have picked it up. This test only tells you about that month, so it's also possible that you might ovulate some months, but not all.
It's ok to feel sad, but lots of us here have had times where we've let the sadness rule our lives. Feel it, accept it, then put it away for a while. Try not to let it affect you all the time.
There's lots of steps left to take that can help, so just decide that you'll reach your goal, even if it takes longer than you wanted, and take one step at a time.Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o

.... my right tube is blocked and refused to take any dye and the left tube was slightly better and took a very small amount of dye. his opinion was that i will probably need to have ivf if im going to concieve, he never spoke of any options with regards to the blockages. i dont know how they are blocked whether it be cysts, endemetrioous or anything as very little was said, he did say they my ovaries were good and that i am ovulating.
Hi VK, I had a blocked tube (just the one) and was a bit surprised when I went for my after-HSG appointment that they didn't want to try to clear it, they just decided to remove it. When I saw the pictures of the tube after the op I understood why (it looked like a haggis - it was huge!). My blockage came from appendicitis when I was young, and the scarring basically acted like valves, letting gunk in, but not out of my tube. The additional problem we had was that my tube was leaking bits of gunk into my womb, and potentially washing away any implanting embryos.
Obviously this is what happened to me, and may not be at all similar to what's happening to you. We were told that we shouldn't have had too many problems after that (well, every time we ovulated from the left anyway!) but it still wasn't happening. We went for ICSI in the end and (3 years after starting ttc) it worked first time. We decided we just had 'transport issues' and the ICSI sorted all that our for us. Hopefully, 'transport issues' are the worst you might have, and you'll have the same success that we've had.:TAm not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o

Thank you, it's nice to go on a forum where people are there to listen and share problems about similar issues. It can be quite lonely when you think you are the only one going through this.0

Everyone seems to be staying away from the board at the moment because they feel low. Its hard I know we are all having bad days but we have to remain positive.
I'm off to London next week for my NK Cells test, looking forwrad to the results as I am sure they are going to be high and this is what is preventing my implantation.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM
