I've been trying to find the words to express what I want to but can't, really just want to echo Nikabella's thoughts, you were all such a help to me when I was TTC, Becs in particular as we shared the same condition. Really nothing constructive to add other than a bit of support for the long timers, and to say I totally understand where you're coming from, and to admit I still lurk everyday and hope every day that your dreams will come true soon, xxx

  • Good Morning everyone what a beautiful Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The sun is shining, and I am sitting with my feet up! Off to Sutton in a min for my MRI scan, I am strangely excited - sad or what! I think its cos its one of the 2 steps out of the way - will only be one to go! However, on the bad news, no caffeine for 4 hours - how can I be expected to manage that! I snuck in a crafty one before the limit, and will be straight to the canteen after - oops that'll bust my daily caff limit!

Have a good day everyone (its very quiet - are you all hiding?)

    Best of luck, lilo!!!
I am trying to motivate myself to do some work, but it is not working well.... Instead, my mind is wandering to my cross stitch project, and I have just placed another order online for more fabric...

Lilo - it is your fault for talking about caffeine! I just went downstairs and made myself a huge pot of cappuccino. of course, with some lovely biscuits.... How am I ever going to lose any weight like this?... Maybe I will force myself to go to the gym tonight...

Hi guys, i am not sure if i should post or not, i did not expect anything near as much response as i got, i was only trying to say what it was like for me, i did not want to offend anyone, and will prob keep a low profile for a while now.

I really hope you all have a wonderful weekend and i look forward to keeping up to date with everyone on here and the other ttc thread.

  • We will have to turn this thread into a branch of weightwatchers!!. I am declaring a (slightly reducing) weight of going back to 158 lb, so some of the water is coming off - nearly back to the 156 I was last week. I had a HUUUUUUGE latte from the wild bean cafe and a tuna and sweetcorn sarnie after the scan, so not too good today.

The scan went well, as did the lymphodaema appt. She is going to refer me to her prof to see if they can get to the bottom of it, as I am odd apparently, and she thinks that they may be missing something which is causing the problems. So, more appts, but it will be worth it if someone can give me my mojo back!!!

My hubbie says I have always been odd, so I hit him!!!

Thanks for the good wishes - lilo

Please, Leopardlady, you have said nothing wrong. I think many of long time ttc-ers feel exactly the same. Smartie has been trying only for 3 months (I know how long it can feel). This is her first post in this thread, apart of couple of congratulations for bfps on the old one!!! I am sure all of us were very excited at that time and every single thing felt like a symptom then. I am not trying to say that symptom spotting only happens in the first months, but later, with months and years you understand, that it really doesn't help your mind and stop doing it. SS is the reason why I avoid the other thread, also the amount of woman who mange to get bfp in the first month (how lucky are they!!!) or just come to post that they got one. I am happy for them, but at the same time it upsets me, that I am still trying 2 years down the line.

So, forget what was said, and stick around.

Glad your scan went well. I hope they can get your swelling under control soon.
