    (((Hugs))).

    CCM, it does put everything in perspective. Infertility is sad but not life threatening:o

    I'm back from Guys and st thomas's, I'm going to type my FET plan, so if anyone does one anytime soon they might have a rough idea of whats ahead, Also Guy's success rate with FET is actually higher than Fresh?!?! He thinks my odds are around 34% , i'm not too sure about that......... I'm only allowed 2 to embryos in, success rate for thawing is 88%, 1 of the 2 they plan to use is as good as it can get, he said something like AAAA* but i didn't take note.
    He also wants me to have another Hycosy, just to rule out anything the first one i had several years ago could have missed, he also feels it often does the trick itms.

    Day 1 of cycle I ring clinic
    Day 9 Hycosy
    Day 21 Buserelin nasal spray for 2 weeks
    Scan
    Estrogen tablets for 2 weeks
    Lining scan , has to be 7-8mm
    Progesterone injections for 5 days
    Frozen transfer

    I asked for the progesterone injection over the pessaries as i don't want the mess x

    I'm cycling earlier weirdly as it's quite a long protocol, I'm due Af end of this month so thats when it will start xx

    Hope everyone is ok xxxxxxxxx

    Wow Toniq, that is quite complex.
    My FET's have only been during a natural cycle, so no downreg so to speak, although we have quite a complex drug regime for after care due to the immune issues/MTHFR.
    When i've had the prog shots it has been every day, so just for 5 days must be quite refreshing also, less lumps and bruises on the old rump!
    Exciting to have a plan in place, wishing you every luck with it

    Hycosy is costing £300
    Fet including all meds is £1000

    Paid frozen storage charges £250 a year

    For everything else there's Mastercard?
    At least your 2WW will hopefully pass quicker than if you were stuck at home etc.

    That made me laugh Lisa - glad you've not lost your sense of humour in all this!

    +++++++

    I was on the phone to the FS again today to ask if there's *any* tubal patency testing they would do after they said no to HSG, even if we were to sign up privately for IUI...i was more or less told to go away and keep trying the Clomid then if nothing happens in next 2 cycles, to make an appointment to examine our options.

    So that's what I'll do.

    (I have also emailed the Midlands Fertility Services to ask about getting a HyCoSy as a standalone procedure - no reply yet).

    ++++++++++

    I went to see my friends newborn today - gorgeous girl. And at least I don't have to envy her bump any more!
