Chickpea, My hycosy is costing £300, that's as a private patient of the unit director, I really hope they let u have it, they should at least be listening to u xx
Midlands Fertility said they'd do it and gave me a phone number to make an appointment - I think I'll wait to get the scores on the doors for this cycle (CD12) and then do it! They quote £325, so that sounds about right.0 -
Not bad:cool:Hycosy is costing £300
Fet including all meds is £1000
Paid frozen storage charges £250 a year
To see the great man was £250
How much did the fresh IVF cost?
:rotfl:lisawood78 wrote: »For everything else there's Mastercard?0 -
Fresh Ivf was £3,500 then then the drugs costs about £1200, (clinic got a special rate with meds companies) so just under £5,000.
Oh has a nice job in IT so we live frugally and put every penny way so we don't have debt xxx
hope everyone is as well as can be xx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
I think my ICSI will cost the same but I am on the highest amount of drugs so maybe a bit more, I look forward to the bill at the end of it. We have savings for this cycle but if this doesn't work I am not sure what we are going to do. OH starts new job on Monday, 6 months self employed contract, but at least some money will start coming in.
Good news for you Toni being away in your first 2ww, hopefully this will take your mind off it. I have promised myself this time in the 2ww I will not sympton spot and trawl through the net looking for answers...well try to anyway.
Lisa, you do have great optimism, pass it around please.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM

hi all, had more scans this hospital thinks embryo has attatched to my ovary, had more blood tests and hormone level has stopped rising but its not really dropping, consultant is ringing later to see where to go from here, if i have to have medication to bring on the misscarriage we cannot try again for 6 months, so we desperately want it to happen naturally.
can i ask others who have gone private how soon have you had your bill, as we have had nothing and i am starting to wonder how much all this is going to cost?
hope everyone else is keeping well
thanks for typing out your fet plan toniq as it gives us an idea of whats to come
congratulations cedrikerry great to hear some happy news :j0 -

Is surgery an option?0 -
HI, yes they have mentioned surgery but as i have already got scar tissue they dont want to make it worse, so that is a last resort for them, they have got a different consultant looking at my notes this afternoon who is going to ring later.0

Many many congrats cedric xxxxxx
Runner xxxxxx My oh wrote our cheque for our appt and frozen for consultant as whilst we were there, the rest, fet and hycosy, well when we want, pretty much, we generally pay asap as treatments start, but we have had cases of them billing us 6 months after frozen storage fee was due as they are so slow in accts.
Really hope nature does it's thing soon xxx (((((((()))))))) xxxxxxx
the surgery if u r allowed it, a modern version of what we all know as a D&C, can actually leave u in a better position itms, it cleans and clears anything and is supposedly meant to help in TC xxxxx
Edit: with me it isn't when body is ready for another shot at treatment , it is when my head is ready as i pyschologically take a long while to lick my wounds, so often my treatments are over a year apart x#JusticeForGrenfell0
