    So sorry Runner. Really, I am. I know that feeling, you just don't know what to do with yourself.

    4th April is my first baseline scan then start stimming the day after.

    After speaking to my acupunturist this morning we were discussing about why my embies are not implanting. There is this new thing were they test your immune system, bloods and natural killer cells in your body to see why implantation isn't happening, I wondered if anybody had any experience in this. This is apparently quite controversial and only done in a few places but America do alot of these tests everytime for IVF and they have a 80% success rate!.

    Again its another costly thing to have done and I am not considering it this cycle but may do if I need to in the future. If anyone has any experience of this please share. :)

    Jujug, my experience isn't exactly the same as yours but I do know that among the leading researchers in this country the 'natural killer cells' thing has been discounted. I discussed it really heavily with my consultant at St Mary's, which is the world's premier research institute on recurrent miscarriage. I really wanted a 'killer cell' test and he said it has been disproven, there is no such thing, and that companies who charge money for the tests are just making money from women's desperation.

    I found it hard to take as there is a lot of evidence to the contrary out there on the net, but then not everything on the net is true, as we know.

    Sorry if it's not what you want to hear; but thought i would share.
  • Runnerduck - I'm so sorry for you and your OH. I can't imagine what you must be going through - especially having to wait for your body to do what will be natural. Sending you lots of hugs and kind thoughts xxx

    Runnerduck - sorry about what's happened, the worst possible news. I am glad you are looking to the next effort with optimism.

    Now you know the loss is inevitable, I hope it's not long before you can start anew.

    ++++++++

    Nothing exciting with me - CD10, absolutely zero on an OPK, so I reckon I'm in for a later OV this month. I'm going to glug lots of Gaifenesin and water for the next 10 days anyway. Can't hurt!

    +++++++

    Nichart - good luck with the two embies, everything crossed for you in the 2ww.
