My frozen are all icsi embies, I've doen icsi with all my ivf's i feel it takes the extra issue out of ivf xxx

SP = short protocol. I'm only speaking for myself when I say that it's for women who are more mature:p

We have problem with DH's swimmers so ICSI is the best option:cool:

doh! i should have realised that, my freshes have been long, not sure till wednesday what the frozen properley involves xx

Well done Nic on your 8 eggs that is a good lot, fingers crossed for some good fertilised ones.

Being on long protocal is a bit of a pain but they said they only do SP if you have really irregular periods. I can only do ICSI too as OH swimmers are poor. I am praying for more than one that fertilise this time and lots of nice healthy eggs.

QQ - hopefully au natural will work for you and you won't have to venture the ICSI game.

Thanks ladies, I was put on short protocol as they thought the D/R drug buserelin was causing the cysts I kept getting but I think I am just prone to cysts, I am also a poor responder. I am not sure if they are doing IVF or ICSI as OH has has a ok sample and a good sample so they are getting ready for ICSI just incase.

Results are in and 4 fertilised so we have 4 now, we are pleased with this though as set our minds to as long as we have 1, just keeping everything crossed that they keep dividing, ET is likely to be monday but will be getting another call before then.
