I had this happen at my first scan. After my treatment I had an early scan when I was 6 weeks (just a couple of days over) and they couldn't find a heartbeat. I was prepared for the worse and was devastated. They re-booked a scan for 2 weeks later. Those 2 weeks were awful but when I went back there was a heartbeat.

I would say take you're time at the appointment on Monday and if there still isn't a heartbeat I would request another scan in a week or so. I made sure my husband was prepared at my second scan to not let me pushed into any decisons if a heartbeat still couldn't be found as I have read about so many early scans not finding a heartbeat only for one to be found at a later date.

Don't give up hope! I'll keep everything crossed for you

Same with me with number 2. We were scanned at just over 6 weeks and no heartbeat seen. I was positive of my dates, but they said maybe it was too early. We went back 2 weeks later and heartbeat was seen and my due date was put back 2 weeks. She duly appeared at "38 weeks" with no vernix and looking for all the world fully cooked.

Try not to stress too much until the next scan. We'll all be thinking if you.

Runnerduck - just wanted to say that I have my fingers crossed for you too. I can't really add to what the others have said but I hope you can take heart from the stories of the other missing heartbeats being found at later scans. Try to focus on some of the positives like your hormones still doing the right thing and the fact that they acknowledge they need to do a better scan...there's still hope x

I'm away from DH from CD22-33, so I need to ov before that, or after.
I can ov any time from CD14-40, and I ov'd on CD26 last Dec when I was au naturale, so it's not looking good:o

We are thinking of ICSI on the cycle after.

Just started my down regging injections and EC is on the 19th April with transfer on the 21st April. Its a long process isn't it hopefully it will be third time lucky for us both!.

Good luck with your EC (though you are probably under already) fingers crossed for lots of healthy and lots fertilised.

I have the pinching that signals I am coming up to Ov. OH goes away today until Sunday so I am hoping that as we DTD last night and will do on Sunday that I might have caught it. :cool: Its all a stab in the dark this TTC business.

Soy Isoflavones? I need to give my ovaries a rest this month, so I'm only taking Pregnacare and Vit Bs:o

I'm back and staright to bed with PJs. OH is fab looking after me. It went well, I am feeling a little sore down below but sure that will pass soon, they collected 8!!! just praying at least 1 fertilises now
