well af arrived late, but i was filled with some positive thoughts, my friend who i found out in november had been ttc for numerous years just told me this week she was preggers, i was soooooooo happy for her. could not believe it. dont think either of us expected it so soon but really chuffed for her and hubby and they did nothing different. just plain and simply had sex. also she cu back a bit on caffine but that was due to a medical issue but apparently that helps.

    good luck to all

Runnerduck, good luck! 10 follicles is brilliant!!!:j

I had my 2nd IUI today, had 2 follicles like last time, both were released. DH's swimmers did much better than last time, there were 28 million motile (post wash) as opposed to 13 million motile last time:cool: Although morphology decreased from 4% to 3%:o

    2ww begins...

good luck with your 2ww QQuaver, hopefully i will be joining you soon

  • Hi everyone, fairly new to this - have lurked for a long time, and maybe posted a long long time ago!

My husband and I have been TTC (bear with me with abreviations - I don't know them all!) for 3 years with no success.

We started seeing a NHS Consultant last year who ordered loads of tests, including a Trans Vaginal Ultrasound, and a Hystosalpingogram (spelling???) and sperm tests for partner, oh and mountains of blood tests.

My scand all came back that there were no blockages or polyps or cysts, so that is great news. Hubby's swimmers are all ok. Blood tests however indicated that I do not Ovulate at all.

Was prescribed 50 mg Chlomid on 5th Jan this year - and (spooky timing) took my first one of 5 this month on the 6th Jan. Fantastically got a big smiley face on Ovulation kit mid month - wonderful news!!

AF is due tomorrow, and this last week have had (although not sure if I am imagining some of them) sore bbs and popping to the toilet every 2 mins! The main thing I want to ask about is the fact that I have today and yesterday had some really odd, but intense pains around my belly button - it is like a pulling from inside that is quite uncomfortable!! Is this something that anyone else gets?

I did a hcg test this morning and nothing!

Any advice would be very welcome! x

Hi Snoopy - I'm on Clomid too, third cycle. Big Fat Nothing so far! I have had weird aches and pains too. I'm afraid almost all 2ww symptoms could be something or nothing! The only reliable indicator of anything is a +ve HPT...

Good luck though - for non-ovulators, I think Clomid is more successful than for people like me, with unexplained infertility.
