Hi Runnerduck, were you awake throughout?
You should really have rested yesterday, perhaps you did a little too much and it is now catching up. I'd say get yourself a lie down asap and give your clinic a call.
Hope you feel better really soon, I had terrible pain after my EC under sedation (not GA) so you are not alone.2 angels in heaven :A0 -
thanks both, clinic rang 5 have fertilised et on fri, asked about pain, they said to take cocodomol and rest, hadnt got any at home so had to drive to town to get some, soooo glad to get home, just hope they kick in soon, thanks lisa, they said i was sedated but we were chatting about gardening all the way through, i didnt feel sleepy, just a bit drunk when i stood up after0

Just an idle query... how do they test to see if you're ovulating? I used to be able to get results with ov sticks easily, and now I can't seem to find my fertile window for love nor money. What's the procedure?0

Sorry your in pain Runner, hope the drugs kick in soon. I had very little pain after a sedation one and a GA. You are suppose to be resting though, feet up now. Great news that 5 have fertilised, I am very jealous as I only seem to get one fertilised each time, fingers crossed they are growers. Good luck.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0

Hi,
A newbie here but i've been lurking for ages. We've been trying for a baby since March 09. My consultant has done all the tests and I was finally told last week that I have an FSH of 23.8 and an amh level of 0.78. I'm 31. Basically our only option apart from a miracle is Egg Donor. I wasn't expecting that and i'm so upset.
I'm working on remaining positive but it's so hard0 -

Hi and welcome.
Is there nothing the Drs can do to bring your FSH down to a reasonable number? I am not sure what a amh is. Have they said egg donor is the only option. Sorry that your feeling upset and sending you hugs.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0 -
Apparently there is nothing that can be done to refuse the FSH. AMH tracks the size/quality of my follicles. so having a low number means that I have possible ovarian failure. We're hoping to go private soon for a second opinion.0

SOrry to hear of your troubles Angel. Hope the private consultation gives you some more options.
Meanwhile I have another question - about Clearblue ov prediction kits. Can anyone help? I normally use internet cheapies but ran out yesterday at a crucial point in my cycle, so took the plunge nad bought super expensive kit from boots - the clearblue digital.
THe internet strips always make a big point of sayint that you need to test at a certain time of the day, that the LH surge is best detected late morning or posssibly early evening. But these strips say you can test any time of day. Is that really true? they even say that first thing in the morning is fine, which I thought was a no no as your surge won't show at that point. I'm really confused and starting to get a bit fed up. I used to be able to detect my surges with no problem ad suddenly I just can't find them. Needless to say I used a stick both last night and this morning and there's no surge detected.0 -
hi and welcome winning angel, i think it would be well worth getting a second opinion, they do seem to be able to do so much these days, hopefully a different clinic might be able to give you some hope. sending you hugs
sarahs999 i dont know much about the ov kits, we did try the cheap ones a couple of times but i could sort of tell when i was ovulating by mucus etc so we gave up on them.
pain a lot better today, hubby has banned me from attempting to go to work so am sat by the fire feeling a lot more positive, not even stressing about the pile of ironing looking at me at the moment0 -
