Hi Angel -the book is 'inconceivable' by Julia Indichova. The title is gloomy, and in fact inaccurate - the author did conceive despite high FSH levels. She had to make a lot of changes to her life and diet though, it's quite hard-core.
(I have 32 books on infertility on my (private!) bookshelf. Saddo.

I have cramps, intermittently. I'm on knickerwatch.
(Oh and my b(o)(o)bs really, really hurt. I'll be so annoyed if it's just that damn progesterone messing me about...)0 -
have just got back from my reflexology, so feeling sleepy, hospital rang all 5 embryos doing well. they are all at the 8 cell stage, we have to go in at 1.30 tomorrow for the embryo transfer,0

thanks, we still dont know how many we are having put back, they want 1 and i want 2, they have said we decide tomorrow, i just want the best chance possible, hopedully we will have the others frozen0 -
I believe, unless there is a specific medical reasons that you couldn't carry twins then you can push for 2, but they will do all they can to make you have 1, unless you are (our clinic at least) over 40 or had multiple failures (as we have)
However if you are young and healthy then there is no reason one won't work (although i'm with you, I always want 2!!)2 angels in heaven :A0 -
Hi RD - I hope the transfer goes smoothly, whether it's one or two going in. And I hope you have some for the freezer too! Sounds great. Isn't it nice when ovaries do what they're told? Now you just need your endometrium to play ball too.
Then it's the 2ww.

I just don't know how you IVF ladies do it - I'm going nuts and this is just a normal month! CD29, BFN. AF is one day late, but it's done that before, back in October and that was nothing. I went to test then, all excited, on CD30, and the cup (it was a PIAC test) was full of what looked like cherryade.
My mind won't stop working, I keep imagining symptoms, that then promptly disappear.
I just wish I knew...0 -
Ahh Chickpea, it is hard for everyone, IVF, IUI or normal BDing.
We have no chance of conceiving naturally so I don't get the every month expectation and let down (although I do still hope for a miracle!) so I don't have to go through that 12 times a year.
Hoping hard that this is your month2 angels in heaven :A0
