Glad everything went well Runner. When you m/c before was that through IVF or natural. Have they rectified your heart shaped womb? Fingers crossed for you.

thanks, m/c was not through ivf it was only time i have been pregnant with oh after long time trying, aparantly i have always had a heart shaped womb but didnt know, and they said its probably why the boys were premature and if i concieved 2 there would be a high chance of a late m/c which scared me so we settled for 1, i don't think they can rectify it as far as i know, still not convinced it was the right choice, but seemed less risky

I have heart shaped uterus too - they think it might be why I had m/c and I've been told that any pregnancies I'm lucky enough to have will be high risk! Apparently they can operate but they do not recommend this as it leaves significant scarring.

When I go for ivf next year think i also will only be able to have 1 put back because of this.

How are you feeling anyway, hope you have your feet up ;-)

Hi RD - a baby runnerduck in the hand is worth two in the bush, so to speak! I think it sounds like the experts convinced you to make the right decision. Fingers crossed for your duckling in there.

    ++++++++++

I'm CD2, back on the Clomid. I was devastated, but I'm over it, once again.

I went on a massive spending spree, which helped. (I may be on the wrong website here.)

    I bought:

    A Diptyque candle!
A grey cashmere/wool coat from Jigsaw
A supersoft squashy dove grey handbag from Jigsaw
A hammered metal necklace from Pia
A spotty dress, flowery blouse, checked shirt and sparkly necklace from Monsoon
A pair of lovely blue glass earrings

I have decided to buy myself something nice every month there's a BFN - could get expensive, but hey ho. I've been walking around dressed in drabby rags for ages, with a dark cloud of gloom hanging over me. I was waiting for the magical BFP to cheer me up, but looks like I'll have to find another way.

I'm going to the GP tomorrow. I'm going to ask for Xenical and Valium. He'll probably laugh at me, but it's worth a shot.

Good luck this month ladies....there MUST be a BFP in the offing. Possibly even two. Or three! I hope so.

chickpea, sorry to hear it wasn't your month, glad your retail therapy helped a bit

nichart, good luck with your appointment

staffiecat, im glad i only went for one if your doctors have told you the same, i was in hospital for 2 months before my second son was born and he was 7 weeks early as i had lost all the fluid from around him so we know it might not be plain sailing this time, and at least now they have picked it up with you, you know to be very careful from the start, so good luck

It must be something in the air...CD1 for me and I've been car shopping this weekend! Not parted with any cash yet, we're holding out for the best deal. Very exciting!

    Your shopping sounds lovely too.

    Its terribly sad news :(

Fingers crossed for you Runnerduck and anyone else in the 2ww. I'm still waiting to get the appointment for my op to have the cyst removed...hope it comes through this week. I just want to be able to make some plans - got 3 hen weekends coming up and DH has a weekend away with the boys and we cant commit to anything until we know the date.

Given your previous experiences I think it was right too that you only had one, its nice to try for 2 because it gives us more hope but it would be too risky. My consultant has already planned out what I need to do when I next get pregnant, natural or ivf so I am pleased that she is taking this seriously now and hopefully next year I will get my sticky sticky bean :).

There's a real air of baited breath on this thread, isn't there??! I'm joining in too; 2ww is d..r..a..g...g..i..n...g.

We did everything right this month. Starting BD early, did it every day around ov, got a smiley face on ov kit, had acupuncture on ov day, lay down after BD every time, used Zestica (new fertility-friendly lube) that's meant to help teh sperm on its way. Couldn't have done anything differently, apart perhaps from avoiding the stress I had this weekend spending a horrible time with my dad who's just unbearable at the moment. Grrrrrrrr.

So fingers crossed. As I said before, if it doesn't work it's not for lack of preparation!
