Morning all - just got a smiley face on my stupidly expensive clearblue digital (hoorah!) so can BD for England tonight. We actually did it the past two nights as well so we're going to be seriously over-covererd this month and if it doesn't work again I know it's nothing we did wrong timing-wise. I also have my first ever acupuncture session today which seems like it might be good timing, so will be asking her to help the egg on its way (if they can do such things).
that's perfect timing, keep bd'ing for next few days if you can, just to be sure
How did the acupunture go? I have always considered it but never actually tried...0 -
I am so tired... I simply collapse each evening - I was falling asleep at 8pm tonight! I know I am still up, but just because my cat is curled u on me and I can't push him off....
To be honest I have been or less like this for the last month or so, I am thinking that maybe it would be a good idea to see GP, as it is getting ridiculous. But then I guess, I would be just told to sleep more - but I sleep enough, and if I stay in bed any longer, all my body starts aching... Coffee, pepsi, etc don't help my energy levels at all , I could have a cup of coffee and happily fall asleep in next 5 minutes!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Gin that is so funny you say this, only tonight I was saying to OH that each night after dinner (around 6pm) I suddenly feel exhausted and I feel that I could go to bed there and then and sleep until the morning - I never do because naturally thats far too early but I just feel soooooooo exhausted !
Its probably life catching up with us, I'm not the spring chicken I used to be - its normally bed by 10 on a 'school night' and 11 at the weekends for me- crikey I have turned into my mother :rotfl:

I am lucky if I can stay out till 10pm on weekday! On the other hand, I am up by 6am as well... I think I'll have to go back to 'in bed at 9am'.
I am now too tird to stnd up and go upstairs, I think I will need a nap on the sofa just o get some energy to go upstairs!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
I'm the same, have to get up at 6am so generally go to bed at 9.30pm but will read or watch telly until 10pm and out like a light !
On a totally different note, did anyone see the BBC news early this morning - it had a consultant from Oxford fertility clinic talking about some breakthrough IVF research ! Apparently they have just realised that they can select the right eggs to put back, more often than not the IVF fails because of the same failures that happen in natural pregnancies that miscarry - this new research should help with this. There was a couple on telly who had been trying for 10 years and had numerous failed IVF attempts but with this added treatment they were sat there with lovely twin boys. You know what this means ladies - there is more hope for us !! :T0 -

It was fine actually. Oddly she kept asking me what I could feel, and I said a sort of warmth and energy in the middle part of my body. She told me afterwards that the area she was stimulating was a sort of channel that runs up the middle of hte body, so I guess that was good! She did say howeevr that if I don't get pg tis month she wants me to stop ttc for 3 months while she figures me out and then I can start again. Not sre about that. It feels like Ive spent the past three yeras being told not to ttc while someone or other does tests. I just want to get on with it!0 -
well, i,ve had one back in and 3 in the freezer and one didn't make it, i went ther determine to have 2 back in but the were not happy as they see me as a high risk miscarrying twins as both the boys wer early, 1, 4 weeks, and 1, 7 weeks i had a m/c at 12 weeks and i have a heart shaped womb. we had got 4 good embryos by yesterday and they said the one was a "textbook" embryo, whick they wanted to put back and freeze the other 3. the risk of a late m/c if it was twins frightened oh, so they all talked me around had a few tears but thought it was probably best to listen, they have given us a 55-60% chance of it working, it would have been 5% more with 2 but the risk of twins was high and then the risk of a m/c was very high, so just done my ducks and chickens and am sat by the fire eating a piece of cake that my lovely friend had made and left in the porch with some magazines yesterday
so its just fingers crossed till i test on the 20th, am taking my 6yr old niece to the xfactor tour the night before so that should help take my mind off it
as for everyone been tired i think there is something in the air as ive always been an early bird (about 5 am) but this last couple of weeks ive been lucky to wake by 6.30 and i'm still off to bed at 10, hubbys still going to work at 3.30am though so its not affected him0 -

Well done Runnerduck! We went for one in the end too, it was really such hard decision, but it felt right as we decided it (on the day!) and we promised ourselves we wouldn't second guess our decision later...
Good luck!Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -
