    Juju, that sounds like a lovely idea!

    me and oh had the idea about 6 months too late to plan our wedding in secret then just invite everyone to an anniversary party and surprise them. would have made everything so much simpler!
    Proud to be a moneysaver! :cool:

    Jujugaboo - Congratulations! :j Wedding planning will be a brilliant way to distract you from the wait until your next round of IVF too. It is rotten that they cant see you sooner, especially as you are a paying customer! Keep us posted on the wedding plans anyway.

    Sarah - dont be embarrassed, it's happened to us all, well it has certainly happened to me! Our bodies are playing games with us. Good luck for next time :o

    Chickpea - hope you're busy making the most of your fertile time ;)

    Gin - sorry to hear you are feeling down...it sounds like you are long overdue some 'me' time! Cant really add anymore than whats been said already.

    Things have changed somewhat for me. The consultant has checked out the scan pics of my cyst and he wants me to have it removed - apparently it is 7cm across :eek:so he thinks that it is either damaging or will have caused severe damage to my ovary :(. There is a chance it might be endometriosis (although I dont have any other symptoms) and if it is, my tubes may well be blocked too. I have to go in for an op around April time (still waiting for the date to come through) and just hope that I come out of it with both ovaries in tact and everything in full working order. On the plus side, everything will be done in one op so I wont need HSG or lap & dye afterwards.

    Thanks again!

    I had my first acupuncture session, and the lady was very nice. She also did a bit of a shoulder massage for me, as I have some shoulder pain, and then we moved onto acupuncture. It is a strange feeling, but I am feeling better. I know it is not a miracle cure for everything, but if it helps me to relax and calm down a bit, it will be more than worth it. I am going back next week and week after.

    My boss is great - he sent me an email later today saying that I don't need to feel guilty about the work as I am doing good job, and I should take tomorrow off as well if that would help. I might take him up on the offer...

    We did some seed planting with OH together, I think we haven't done something together for a long time (apart from watching TV and sleeping in the same room). We planted the seeds I gave him for his upcoming birthday (aji limon and hot chocolate habanero chillis), and also some basil, thai basil, coriander, parsley and dill. And we are using the heated propagator that I bought for this occassion (as part of a gift for OH).

    Thanks for the fertile vibes everyone...come on ovaries, you know you want to. Just one leetle, leetle egg is all I need now..

    +++++++++++

    Murray - big cyst. I had a 2cm one removed, 7 cm is v. big. On the plus-side, maybe getting shot of the thing will improve the situation and at least it's just the one op. Are you still my near cb? I'm on CD16, awaiting an egg. Patiently.

    Today's affirmation:

    'My follicle has reached its optimum size and there is no barrier to me releasing the egg now'.
