  • No you haven't lost the plot! We know our bodys really well after all this time, so of course we feel any slight changes. It could be different due to the thing you want most in the world, or it could be the change in your routine.

Your on current day 23? How long is your cycle?

As for me I have Egg Collection tomorrow, which I am sick with excitment about swinging from high to "why bother I won't work" at my last scan there was 16 Follys so hopefully a good number of eggies. IVF isn't as bad as what it looks from the outside (Oh yeah? Ask me again next week!)

  • OOH - Winky! Good luck for tomorrow - hope you get a good 'clutch'!

The worst bits of treatment are over now - just the waiting to do (actually - I reckon on balance that was the worst bit - at least when you are stimming & downregging you are actually doing something - just ignore me - I am wittering!!!!)

  • Thanks FE!

I've heard the 2ww is the worst bit. Going to stock up on lots of trashy books and sweeties! Plan is to just relax (Hmmm...) and treat it as a bit of a holiday.

JoJo77, you haven't lost the plot at all.
I must be well known on here by now for NOT sympton spotting at all, ever. Though every 6 months or so I will get symptoms during my last week of a cycle that scream 'pregnancy' at me. I try to ignore them but can't help getting a little excited. They never amount to anything though and AF is usually on time.

Winky, best of luck for tomorrow, hope you get lots of good eggs! :j

Oh my god I am so bloody fed of clomid. I'm only mid-cycle and the tears have hit with a vengance. I don't think I want to take them anymore. I'm really torn, because I know if we continue to have problems I will look back critically to ask myself if I could have done anything more to help us. But saying that, I can't handle it. I have now cancelled a night out because I think I'm going to cry all night long. It's embarassing to be bawling my eyes out in public for no reason.
OH is going to ring to make an appointment with the councillor tomorrow so we can work this all out and hopefully she can give me some tips on dealling with it all.
To surmise. I am fed up.
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

Big hugs jiblets, hang in there. The counsellor sounds like a great idea, OH sounds like he is being really supportive. It messes with your hormones, and you can get PMT x 10000, so not good really. I get ANGRY GRRRRRRR! When anyone messes with my hormones - I am well known for it, and everyone avoids me like I have the plague - ho hum!

Stick with it if you can - have you tried anything like acupuncture etc to try and regulate you hormones - it may help.

    Good luck - lilo

winky, I hope all goes well today! Fingers crossed they collect lots of good eggs!

Is it just me or anyone else sometimes get this? I was just sitting at work today and I suddenly thought I can't imagine myself being pg. We have been trying for so long, and I was expecting it to happen 'anytime now', but suddenly, I can't imagine that happening at all. Because it is taking time, I can't imagine one day just being pg and announcing it to 'the world'. Maybe it is not meant to happen to me? I should be just happing for having OH, who loves me so much and for my cat, who loves me even more (I think...)!!!

P.S. I know we have only been trying for nearly 2 years, and other have been trying for much longer, but I just can't shake off that feeling...
