Seems the area I live dosen't offer free treatment to couple with previous sterilization and I rekon that still stands.I found yesterday a table on the internet saying the criteria. Just went through my history and found it, maybe of some use - not all of them say that previous sterilization is a no-no, but that is a year or 2 old info:
http://www.parliament.uk/deposits/depositedpapers/2008/DEP2008-2501.pdf
Also, today I found this info in guardian with the age limits, BMI, etc:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/datablog/2009/aug/06/fertility-problems-nhs
Check "DATA: download the full datasheet, with all criteria" for more details.
It seems that my PCT didn't say anything about BMI. They have a rule of 2 years on reliationship/infertility.
Oh, and just found the source of all this:

Sorry devil...
Well, first day at work after couple of weeks break on sick leave. And first thing I hear is that the senior person from client company who recently took up the position is coming to meet my group and have a presentation about the software we use. I would have liked to know in advance about it, as I wasn't dressed up very smart and besides, with my body so run down, I am not looking the best, and the shingles on my face add that special touch'... It was fine in the end, as I send the most of the day in the meeting, so didn't really have to think much!
AF arrived this afternoon - not too bad yet, but I hope the worst will get over during night (it is usually very painful in the first day or so, but I will see how it goes after lap).
Went to GP surgery to get my last vaccination (can't ever remember which one I am getting, it is a set of three), jsut to be told that I will have to come back later as I am still on antibiotics for the shingles. To be fair I was expecting it. So, I asked for appointment next Tuesday morning, before I go to see my consultant. He mentioned after lap that we will be discussing the treatment...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
I'm finding it really difficult to find out about the PCT's in Wales. Any ideas?
Thanks.Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o

Just an update for those of you waiting to hear about how I got/get on with the mooncup I talked about getting earlier on in the thread....
Well I got one from e-bay last week and it arrived today. My first reaction when I took it out of the box was
Blimey, its much bigger than I imagined it. Typical timing that AF has just finished so you (and me) will have to wait awhile now till I can test it properly and give my verdict. I am going to sterilise it and 'try it for size' in the next couple of weeks so that I am comfortable with it once AF gets here.
I don't want to be faffing around trying to insert it and take it out again to trim the stem whilst in full flow
Nothing else to report!
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Sorry to come & hijack your thread but just wanted to say that I have a Mooncup & spent ages faffing with that blooming stem - in, out, trim, in, out, trim, etc. In the end I cut the entrie thing off as no matter how short I cut it, it still stabbed into my insides when I moved around - for something made of silicon it's not that soft! I have no problem getting it out without the stem - I just use the "squeezing the bottom of the cup" method to release the seal & then it comes out easily. I don't really see the point of the stem - also contracting your muscles does help it to move down should it get a bit high to reach.

I'll have to try that, as the stem is really hurting me and that is why I don't use it!!!! I wouldn't be able to sell it on, as I did try using it, so for something quite pricey I feel cheated if I can't get on with it!!!..Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Hi All, just to add my twopennath about the mooncup. I having been using one for about 6 months. I had to cut the whole of the stem off as well as it was digging in. It took a month to get used to it but now it's just really simple and I wish I'd bought one ages ago.
On a different subject...I was pretty depressed when AF showed-up as you probably all remember, but I got back my PMA. I'm currently on cd22 and feeling really odd. I wanted this month to be the perfect month but it hasn't been as I did drink alcohol in the first weeks and I forgot to take my clearblue fertility monitor away on holiday with me so no idea if we bd'd at the right time or not. However, I've had a funny feeling where I normally get af pains but it's not a pain it kind of feels tight and solid. Also, I'm suddenly struggling with my blood sugar and have had 2 'crashes' in the last week. The clomid always makes me hungry after ov but it's not the same. I don't normally symptom spot as I hate to line myself up for disappointment and after 4 years of trying that's a lot of disappointments! Am seeing the consultant on Monday where they are going to refer us for ivf so I guess I'll ask then. What do you all think? Have I finally lost the plot?0 -
