  • Where in the North West are you ginvzt?

Liverpool have a policy of 2 cycles, and a BMI of 30.

My scan to check my eggies is 8 am tomorrow and I am bricking it! The good old "Dil docam" as it is affectionately known is not one of my favourite experiences.

Right now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before

Anyone here know of any similar cases? And any positive outcomes?

A colleague of mine and her husband had to have surgery to get any sperm (I think they cut a piece of his testes?). Anyway, they now have 3 kids by IVF.
    The IVF worked;DS born 2006.

Many thanks. I will pass on what you said to him.

Enjoy yourself Leopardlady, weather isn't looking bad down here this weekend so hopefully the sun will shine for you!

That's interesting about the sperm being removed by force - my OH's sperm isn't up to much apparently but that has never been mentioned? So I'll remember to sound very knowledgeable on the subject next time!

    Investigation
    • The basis of investigation of male infertility is a semen analysis - see Infertility - assessment and management in primary care.
    • A diagnostic testicular biopsy is indicated in patients with normal FSH and normal testicular volume, to differentiate between obstructive and non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA).
      • Testicular biopsy can also be performed as part of a therapeutic process in patients with clinical evidence of NOA who decide to undergo intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
      • About 50-60% of men with NOA have some seminiferous tubules with spermatozoa that can be used for ICSI.
Testicular sperm extraction (TESE) and ICSI were introduced in 1993 for treatment of obstructive azoospermia. This technique can also be used for azoospermic men who appear to have disturbed spermatogenesis. If sperm are detected in the testicular biopsy, ICSI with either cryopreserved or fresh sperm can be proposed to the couple.

    Hello All, and welcome newbies.

Haven't posted for a while as we have been away. I've got a couple of questions. Where is the cheapest place to buy the clearblue monitor sticks? I've been looking on Ebay.

Also, over the last few weeks I keep getting migranes. I used to get them and was taken off the pill as they felt the hormones were causing them (this was years before ttc). I used to get them when i was really stressed at work but I'm pretty chilled-out at the moment so that's not it. But, I am on my 5th month of clomid and I'm wondering if this is causing them. Any advice would be appreciated.
