legacy - Oooo what does horny goat weed do or is that a silly question:rotfl:and what ever it does, does it work??

Lilo sorry af got you hope the soy works for you too x x

SK - because I did not get to egg collection they don't count it as my NHS cycle used, I get 1 fresh cycle 2 frozen embryo transferes

I am very tempted, why would it work now after all these years of trying keeps on popping in my head

    Hiya Nichart...

Horny goat weed (available for men AND women!) is supposed to rekindle the sexual appetite (shall we say!) :o

I haven't used it, but my OH has before (not that he has any "problems", its just after 5 years of TTC, things can get a bit..erm, "mundane" at times in the boudoir if you know what I mean). So, anything that puts the spark back into things I'm game for - in for a penny, in for a pound!:kisses2:

Thank God OH doesnt read this forum..!

Nichart, sorry about your follicles and no BDing:o
Hope you'll get more follicles next time with or without Soy:)

    Legacy, £6.29 for 6 months supply! That's a lot cheaper than what I paid:o

I'm taking Soy to induce ovulation (irregular cycles), but I hear it gives stronger eggs so people with regular cycles take it as well.
Good luck to all those trying Soy:)

Really? So even though I have regular cycles I could still try it to increase the quality of my eggs maybe?

I wonder if it would cause any shortening of the cycle in a person who has a normal length cycle between 28 - 30 days

Personally, if you are regular I wouldn't take it, it may mess up a perfectly good cycle.

But I know some had success with it. Better ewcm and longer luteal phase. Then some didn't ov at all so I'd be careful. Only try that as last resort if you are regularly oving.

Just a quick one on the run. Had my scan this morning, all is fine, two follicles good size, got the injection.

And - I got my weight checked and it was 80.6kg!!! It was below the required 81kg, so I can get the IVF referral. There was some confusion with the nurse about passing info to the consultant, so that he would send off the letter (oh, lets wait and see if this cycle works...), but I got consultant's secretary's number, so I will be giving her a call next week!

    Ok, have to run!

Well done on youe weight loss and the referral, its all go go go!

I use the Zita West Pregnancy Vitamins which are very good they also do some for Men too which my partner has used. Apparently the men ones are good as they have two vitamins which aren't in the usual mens (fertility) vitamins.

I love the name of it legacy, might have to indulge - I know what you mean about the mundane .................

As expected, CD1 is today, so will start the soy soon - will try prob day 4 - 8 to go for quality, we'll see!!!

In other news, I havent heard anything from my tests yet, so am assuming that they are all okay as I would have been phoned within a few days if there had been a problem. So, all clear and 4 months to next check - an extra month! (scary!!!) I am being referred for another MRI on my head back to rule out nerve probs as I am having a few problems with shoulder as well now - maybe I should just be put down!! If I could have the baby I want, I can take the painkillers which would actually help - never mind.

    Hope all are well! Lilo
