Nichart - welcome back. Please, stick around and share your journey with us. I, for one, yould love to hear it all - good days and bad days, good news and not so good. I hope Monday's scan will show better results and you won't need to cancel the cycle. It is stressful, and come and vent any time.

I will do been away from everything an everyone has sent me a bit loopy :p, the house sounds lovely go for it if you can, well done on the walk I love lake district. Shame about the tick

Hi nichart. I'm not sure if this is an option for you, but something similar happened to me with my first attempt at IVF. As there weren't going to be enough eggs to collect, the doctors suggested that they convert the treatment into an IUI instead, and I took the trigger injection and had IUI (with OH's swimmers being treated so only the best ones were used). We still to this day call DS our "failed IVF".

If this isn't something you can do, then my best wishes with your next cycle.

    Nicki

I read this somewhere else about IUI been offered if the cycle had to be cancelled so will be asking them about this and your proof it can work, your pic of DS is gorgeous, thank you for your wishes x x

Just a flying visit as I need to pack the car for the boot fair tomorrow

Welcome back and good luck Nichart! I converted an IVF to IUI as well - but 3 sounds promising anyway - they will only implant 2! (On stim'd natural IVF this is the number I get anyway)

Glad you enjoyed the walk gin X

    Morning Ladies,

In the nicest possible way, I had hoped I wouldn't be joining you, but here I am on CD1 of cycle number 13. Early days comapred to you guys but it still sucks a$$ lol.

Anyway, i'm Sexki11en, 31, trying for baby number 1. Never been pregnant and so far have had CD3 tests come back clear and just waiting on CD18 results. DH is booked in for his spermies being checked on the 18th of this month.

I charted for 9 cycles then stopped to see if relaxing would make it happen (lol) It didn't, started again, then the GP told me to stpo now that they are helping. I have since been told that's wrong as the first thing the fertility clinic will want is data, so got all my kit back out this morning.

    Phew.

Nichart, good to see you again (although not under these circumstances) Maddie I also know from the TTC thread. The rest of you, I've followed most of your journeys since the very first TTC thread so you have no idea who I am but I feel like I know most of you already!

You'll see I have a tendancy to waffle in my posts so if you've got this far well done!

    SK x

jiblets, congratulations on your house and IVF! You wait for a bus, then all come in at the same time! Have you found a house for you yet?

We have lots of options for where to go, but we're moving straight out and into my parent's house for a while! Ooo heck. That could be an awkward time with my hormones...

Had a tricky time at a close friend's party yesterday. She failed to warn me quite how many of her friends would have bumps or babies. There were probably 12 babies and 3 bumps there, and I was a bit taken by surprise. But I gave myself a minute on my own to feel sorry for myself then got back in there. One of the girls (avec bump) has been reading my blog and bless her she came right over to me and chatted about what I'm going through. It really made me lots better, and made me involved with the crowd again. And as the party went on most of the children dispersed, and I was able to have fun again. Phew!
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

SK - Hiya sorry you have had to join us and hope your not here long, glad to hear your cd3 tests came back ok and hope hubbys swimmers test come back ok, does he take any vitamins at the moment as my OH first test came back not too great, not really bad but he now takes zinc, selenium, b12 and b6 and the last test it had improved a lot. I did read the test results can change from month to month though.

Lilo - hope you had a good day at the fair

jiblets - your brave moving in with the parents for a while don't think i could do that!! hope the move goes well x x

Just to say I am gratefull I have 3 but as this go is on the nhs she said it would be best to cancel to give me a better chance as I also get 2 frozen embryo transfers on the nhs and its unlikely I am going to have any to freeze from this, but then is it best to go ahead with the ones I have as less medication has been used and maybe a better quality hhmm my head is all confused!!

    Hello everyone

Have been lurking for ages and must admit a little behind in my reading too .....DH near end of 4 months non smoking so have another appointment with consultant at end of month. He has another SA this week to see if the no smoking has made a difference to our chances of IUI. Sisters just had a baby (with a bloke she has only known 10 months) and the stress of all this, work and DH work made me have a little breakdown a couple of weeks ago ....but feeling better (ish) now trying to lose a the fewpounds I accumulated when feeling like poo and eating like a piglet:o
    2009 total raised £2373.60:j
the new garden beat me in 2010 just £1306.66:o
    2011 - 365 £ a day.
Life Changing October 2011 - DF & £10000 saved - twins came - no plans
2013 - twins now 14 mths old - lets get sorted!

Good luck living with your parents:) You should tell them about your hormones, and say you are not responsible for your actions:D They'll understand.

Glad to hear good news for most and things are progressing

nichart - can you ask for more stim drugs thats what I had when I had my last IVF, I only had three eggs and one fertilised so I had nothing to save either.

Chakani - tell your friend on her own as soon as possible. If it was me I would want to know before I started my next treatment. My SIL told me her pregnancy when we were out at dinner and I wanted to go away and cry but put a brave face on.

3 weeks to my appointment and I am just hoping they will let me start my next treatment straight away on my next period, I don't think I can wait any longer its driving me mad and constantly on my mind, but I am sure I am not alon in this.

Hello to new and returning people! Always nice to have more stories to follow. I'm starting to get excited about trying again (have been on a strict regime to lose weight; one stone to go to give me a BMI of 25, then we'll start). have lost 34 lb since the beginning of the year. It's weird though because I've totally got out of ttc head and TBH it's been a nice break. Still following people's stories though; waves and hugs to all.
