Thanks Gizmodo, I do feel happier.:)

Also, despite what the doc said about Soy, it seems to have worked for me since the doc said I'll be fertile next week - that's something like CD22. I usually ov on CD30-40:D

Ginvzt, your house sounds like a lot of work, but you'll get the kitchen/bathroom of your choice, and it'll be worth a lot if you come to sell later (good investment). Good luck:j

Hello all. Well, we are right in the middle of the cycle and I am exhausted (not because of BD). I've got a client for training, and he is so tiring, I feel like I have to babysit him. He came for a training of the software we use, which is based on Excel (and uses Excel for inputs/results), and yesterday (3rd day of his visit here), he tells me that he doesn't know much of Excel. He can't put a simple formula in the cell (like "=A1+B1"), and from what I a getting, he is not really willing to learn ("if I need anything, I'll just give you guys a call and you will do it" - that is the attitude!).

I tried going to gym after work yesterday, but was so tired, I could barely do anything. Got home, cooked dinner (OH was working late too), and decided to put some white wine in risotto. Had to open new bottle, and although I don't really like wine (or any other alcohol), and can't finish half a glass, I had one and a half glasses of wine, and would have had another one if there was anything left in the bottle (I was shocked with myself!).

We did bd, as it is the days we are 'prescribed' to do it by the doctor (I had the pregnyl injection on Tuesday), and I am feeling a bit guilty for having had the wine, but wqhat are the chances that we will get pregnant this month?

With that attitude, you'll probably get pg:D
A bit of occasional wine is fine:)

What about occasional smacking of the clients? I really feel like it. I can't understand what he is doing here! We had a problem this morning with him trying to add things to the existing ones (he is in his 30s), like for example there is 1 apple in the basket - now, add 4. What is the result (ok, it was not apples and the task didn't finish at that, but you get the gist...). I had 4, and also 1.4 (because excel cell said 1.0 initially, not 1, I guess)...

I guess I might need more wine tonight and not just a glass and a half...

  • Hi all!
I also went for an appointment this week for fertility etc. It wasn't terribly exciting - more of a formality really. I'd already had the blood tests/scans ruling out PCOS.
I had a blood test so they could test if I ever had chlamydia (I don't think so, but was reading on the net that the symptoms aren't that noticeable and many people don't even know they had it!:eek::eek:) Apparently if you ever had it your tubes could be closed.
Then OH has to take over a sample of the swimmers on Monday. It's funny cos I thought he'd have to do it there, but he's got to fill the little pot here and then pop over to the hospital, trying to keep them as close to body temperature as possible!

Typically complicating the dates..... he's supposed to save himself for 3-5 days before, which will probably coincide with when I'm ov-ing. If we decide to delay handing in the swimmers in order to DTD at the right time, we might have to postpone our next appt. The hospital need 4 weeks to test everything and get the results.

    We did that this morning:o
I put his sample (in a plastic jar) in my leggings and took it to the hospital.
    Didn't realise one's sample was so little:shocked:

Hospital told my OH to keep the sample between his legs whilst driving to keep it at body tempreature!

Why don't they just let them do it at the hospital? Seems much easier....

That is what my OH did - he just went to the bathroom and did it there... There is no need for them to know.
