I'm coming off the pill on Wednesday, so AF should maybe get here on Sunday? I start the suprecur on CD1 and I'm booked in for a baseline scan on July 5th. It's all happening!

Hi all!
QQuaver - I thought I would tell you that sadly I was not allowed under any circumstances to inspect or ask too many questions about OH's "population paste" (:rotfl::rotfl:never heard that one before!!!!!!!), So I can't tell you how much there was!

I told OH about all replies on here about keeping it warm etc, but he said it was all fine, put the pot in his trouser pocket and took a leisurely cycle to the hospital. I was not allowed anywhere near it (he's very sensitive bless!)

The form had some funny bits. One question asked how the sample was achieved with 3 options. Direct translation into English:
1. Massage 2. Interrupted BD 3. Electro-vibrator

O how we laughed!

Happy too that my ov dates worked out - as I'm ov-ing now just after he had to save himself for the sample!

I'm having bloods done as well. It will be CD22, but I haven't ov'd:(
I read somewhere that it is usually CD21 or 7DPO test. They should've waited 'till 7DPO in my case since I ov late.

I am trying to build up enough courage to call consultant's secretary... I am a wimp when it comes to calling someone on the phone. Also - I have just spent half an hour on the phone (mostly waiting to be answered) with HMRC to get my overpaid income tax back from last year (company decided that I have BUPA from them, even though I didn't).

I just called!!!! The letter is going to be done today and apparently things are moving quickly. We will receive the forms to fill in and we will have to respond within two weeks. The problem is - we are going on holiday in July for 2.5 weeks!!! Good thing I asked, so now they are going to put in the referral letter that we are away on those dates.

I know, it is still a long way, but something is happening!

Hi guys, just thought I would come back and update you, I went for my first appointment yesterday and had the swabs and scan, they confirmed my PCOS - which I already knew about and I am not ovulating, so have been put straight onto Metformin and will see if I ovulate next month.

The stupid thing is he kinda got my hopes up and said that Metformin should be all I need and I could probably be pregnant next month and he prob won't see me again. Oh to be that positive, I know I am not that fortunate.
But at least I am doing something now anyway.
Bloods this month and OH sample to be done now.

GINVZT - I am also away for 2 weeks at the end of July so have asked them to make my next appointment after that.

Have all you guys been on Metformin before then?

Well done on calling, I know how you feel, I hate calling feeling like I am a complete nuisance. Glad everything seems to be moving onwards for you.

My first appointment is next Thurs, so I am pretty nervous hoping we can start treatment straight away (I have only been waiting a year since my last IVF attempt). Then on friday off to New York for a few days with my Mum (competition win, very excited) and OH can look after the cat.
