We were told to do it at home and bring it in.

My DH only produced about 2 teaspoon. Is that normal?
  • QQuaver - I'll let you know how full our pot is!!

That is what we were told. But then half an hour drive to the hospital, so he just did it there.

In the end we had to wait about 8 weeks for results!!!!! (And we got our GP chasing them)

Hi everyone, I have my first appointment at the fertility clinic on Monday, but I already know I have PCOS so shouldn't be too much investigation.

Presume they will put me on Clomid.

    Hi! Fellow PCOSer:beer:
I had my first appt yesterday, and had scans. Will get the bloods done next week. Doc said he'll prescribe Clomid, but will need to see the bloods to determine the dose.
  • At my hospital they said the blood test for chlamydia anti-bodies has to be done first to determine whether I can have the Clomid. (Well I presume it's Clomid - they didn't yet tell me what it's called)

I wonder if they test that on DH's sperm test too?
I didn't have chlamydia when they did the bloods back in July, and I haven't BD'd with anyone other than DH.

    I can't vouch for DH though:eek:

I did the home test for chlamydia once. I read that it's basically symptomless and thought I'd check it out. Wasn't too complicated. I think it was POAS then compare the colour to a chart.

OH and I took his sample to the hospital tucked into my cleavage (insert disgusting joke here) as it's great at keeping it body temperature.

Think the pill is kicking in. I'm grumpy, tired, a bit achy, bloated and had a migraine. Add to that I think AF would have arrived now without the pill, because it's telling me she's coming. Not going to come on for 10/11 days though, so I think I might feel like this till then...
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

I did the same, the only problem is that I also happen to work in the same hospital.
Imagine the scene,I'm walking down the corridor, when a colleague shouts "cooeee" and then tries to tell you the latest (long) bit of gossip. After trying to escape, I had no alternative but to tell her that I really couldn't stop because "I had a pot of OH's population paste between my boobs"Bet I was a source of gossip for days.:rotfl:
