Thanks jibs, I love our fires, it is just that it is in a funny place in our room, and had been wrecked by someone in the past and needed a lot of tlc. We also have a multi-fuel stove in our front room, and I wouldnt trade that for anything (Oh okay maybe one ..........)
I didnt register 47 days :eek::eek: But I agree, gps and consultants dont seem to turn a hair when you tell them that you have had a long cycle - mine certainly dont even when I ask them about it. Although I admit I usually have a 27ish day cycle so my recent 42 days was unusual. I agree with ginvzt, I would def bring it up at your next consultation.

Hey please can I join in?
I am 30, DH 33
TTC since Aug 07.
3 mc.
This is our last try before adoption. SO we are really going for it. We have had some tests lupus anticoagulant, STDs and Chromosonal abnormalites and all have been clear.
I have bought the baby making bible and just ordered taking charge of your fertility
So far I am monitoring my temps and cm, cut out alcohol, caffeine, eating more wholegrain, pulses and leafy green veg. I drink lots of fruit and herbs teas. I swim, run, dog walk, and wii fit. I body brush daily and have stopped using tampons.
I am currenlty about 3 pounds overweight and dh is about 2+ stone overweight. Which we are working on. So hard to do this and be tactful. Any suggestions?
He is taking multi vits, zinc ans selenium. I am taking multi vits, baby aspirin, zinc, selenium, garlic, folic acid, evening primrose, cod liver oil, omega 3 oil and agnus cactus tinture. Thinking about taking an aloe vera, chorella and dong quai supplement, but think I may be taking too much already?
I would be interested to chat to others who have been trying along time and are trying naturally. Diet overhaul and holistic approaches

Hi mennie and welcome! I don't know much about holistic therapies I'm afraid, but I'm sure somebody else on the thread will! Sorry to hear about your losses ((HUGS)) and GL with the weight loss
Lilo - Fire sounds lovely, hope you have a great weekend
jiblets - Hope everything goes well at the follow up app. My friends are long and irregular, but drs have put it down to IBS, which I don't understand at all!
ginvzt - I get headaches after running, and DF does after he goes football every week. I wonder why?

Welcome to mennie! I hope that this year will bring you more luck...
JS - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. We need some good news - so I hope you can be the lucky one to give them to us!!!
I did another run last night and now I am sitting on the sofa in the darkish room with a migraine. how am I supposed to exercise if I end up like this the following day? I did try eating a bit before the gym, having something to eat afterwards and drinking lots of water (I think I had about 1.5 l of water, a pint of milk, and nearly a pint of camomile tea last night - no wonder I had to keep getting up for the loo 3-4 times tonight). None of that any help. I took paracetamol last night, when it started. I took double dose this morning. I just wish it went away and I could get on with my day!
Sorry for moaning. I have finished clomid, CD8 today, but can't be bothered to bd at all. Of course, I know that I can't get pregnant if we don't bd!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
I know exactly what you mean ginvzt, thats what my legs are like in a way. As soon as I do more than a small amount, I get headachy and ill. I end up going round and round in circles. I need to build up the amount I do, but as soon as I do I feel bad! bding when you dont want to - mmmmmm. I must confess that I quite often start when I really dont feel like it, just because it is the right time. I do get into it after a while, but I really have to force myself sometimes - isnt that awful! The things we do to get pregnant.!
Lilo
ETA Sorry, meant to welcome mennie - I cant do IVF or IUI or anything anymore, so from that point of view I am holistic as well. I have tried most of the self help things, and also acupuncture. I was going to try chinese herbs, but was put off by the cost, and really didnt like the practitioner. Diet I think is the thing that helps me the most, but I cba at the moment!Live on £4000 a year again for 20110 -
Hey all, sorry I havent posted in a while its been very hectic!
We got married last Friday, it was perfect wonderful day and I thought life couldnt get any better, AF hadnt arrived and I assumed it was due to the stresses of the wedding but I did a test on Tuesday and its BFP!
I saw the doctor on Thursday and she reckoned I was about 6 weeks Althought, I still havent had any symptoms ie sickness or sore boobs the only thing is the constant needing a pee and from what I read online (i know i shouldnt have googled it) alot of people who dont have the sickness and stuff have gone on to MC so Im desperatly trying not to freak myself out and make it to 12weeks safely!
I believe the hycosy combined with the 3st weight loss(which iv probably put back on all i do is eat and pee!!) have been the reasons behind it.
Dont get me wrong, Im thrilled but Im also terrified!! I just wanted to thank you all for all the support given whilst TTC and if it doesnt work out Ill be back and Ill be keeping my eye on this thread anyway hoping for more good news!0 -
Congratulations. Fantastic news
Try not to worry about lack of MS. I suffer badly from it. This time it started early around 4 weeks but last time I was further on when I found out so reckon it didn't start properly until about 9 weeks. You may start with it soon as the hormones really kick in.
And if you don't there are loads of women who don't suffer and don't miscarry. Just like there are women who do suffer and still miscarry.
Good luck and try to just enjoy it.Give me the boy until he's seven and i'll give you the man.0 -
