Sarah hope you dont mind me asking, have you had the chromosome tests? Ive already had the normal blood test, after my 2nd mc and they were all fine, i went to see the gynaecologist on thursday and he said as my blood test before were normal, then there isnt any reason behind my mcs but he has sent me and OH to have chromosome tests but he is expecting them to be normal. He never mentioned anything to be about asprin.x0

Hi,
Has anyone on here been given progesterone suppositories once pregnant to help support the pregnancy. We've had 3 miscarriages and this is an option we have been offered for whenever we can get pregnant again. Did you find any benefit, what about side effects? Doctor said none but think he must've meant no irreversible ones from what I've read online.
Winnie
I had quite bad side effects from the progesterone pessaries during IVF which subsequently resulted in a chemical pregnancy last year. It took me about 7 months to get over these side effects. They affected my body's chemical balance badly. PM me if you want the gory details! Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

Ok, I am definitely out for the month - AF showed up on Saturday afternoon, so Day 1 was yesterday. I have to make a decision today before clinic closes if I am going to skip this cycle because of the potential work trip, which might happen next week or week after!
It was a 'pleasant' surprise, that I had no pain at all with AF this time! After the last month, were I could barely stand up and walk and the loo was my good friend as I was being sick, this was painless and we went shopping to garden centre and I was cleaning the patio and planting my pots in the afternoon.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

Yep, had those, all clear. Had the womb scan where they pump coloured stuff through you to look at your bits, all fine. Had Kariotyping, all fine. Had hormonal tests, all fine.
Aspirin would be prescribed if you had shown any signs of thrombophilia. I often wonder when they say 'your blood tests were normal' how many things they actually tested for. When I had my first set of tests with my consultant years ago they found Factor V Leiden, which is a thrombophilia. They completely missed the second blood clotting disorder, which was only found at St Marys two miscarriages later.Try to get a list of everything they looked at.
Do you mind me asking about your weight? They are finding more and more evidence that heavier women are more likely to miscarry. I'm trying to lose another 10lb before I conceive again. Prof Regan was emphatic that I should lose as much as possible (I'm not enormous, but my BMI is around 30. I'd like it to as close to 25 as I can get before we try again, as that's the weight I was at when I had my son).0 -
Thanks very much for that sarah:).
I dont think im going to be seeing the gynaecologist again, i was told after we had the chromosome tests that he will wright to us the results, so im just taking it as if they were are fine then they havnt found a reason behind the mcs. and suppose start trying again in 3-6 months. He said it would be best to wait as in the past year had three mcs quick soon after each other and could off been where my body hadnt recovered properly.
I did ask him about my weight when i first saw but my weight is the other end, im only 5ft3 and very petite/underweight (i am naturally like this) he said no my weight wasnt a factor.
I also ask my regular doctor about my weight and he asked if i have periods i said yes then he said im not underweight!(this is coming from the doctor for years didnt believe me when i said i eat and naturally like this.
opps sorry i started waffling on!:):rotfl:0 -

It is fine, it didn't hit me as bad as some previous months and I haven't had my 'depressed' day.
My weight on the other hand, decided that going down is no fun, started climbing up, even though I am not eating more than usual or worse than usual. if anything, I am better with my 5-a-day, etc. Oh well, my body has a mind of its' own.
I have got a headache today, which started yesterday, and even the nights' sleep didn't cure it. My head feels sort of 'puffed up', if that makes sense. I have just made myself a cup of Lemsip, as my sinuses a feeling a bit funny as well, and I hope it is not some sort of flu starting, and I better get rid of it before it got its' roots firmly inside me!
I have decided to go on with Clomid for this month, as there is no chance we are flying off this weekend, so I have at least 2 weeks in UK, and the 'good' days should be within that time. So, I am still on for this month. Got my scan booked for next Wednesday.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
