    Good morning ladies,

I am struggling a bit more today as i started bleeding again yesterday and it is heavy and uncomfortable. I really thought this was over as i had stopped for four days and was back at work, now i am sitting at my desk and (sorry TMI) dripping, this is horrible.

I know it will get better just a tough day today. PMA will return have no fear i can feel it constantly shouting from somewhere inside.

I hope you and your family are taking everything easy Lilo, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your step brother.

Leopardlady, you may need to get checked to make sure that the erpc worked properly. I think you should go home, really. I've had two adn I know they take a lot out of you emotionally. Call your doctor or the hospital that did the procedure and they should be happy to check you over.

    good luck

    Thanks Sarah,

I have spoken with the EPU and they say it is all normal, i think i really need to go home, but am stuck for a little while longer, but may get my hubby to take me home at lunch. I am just really struggling, and keep wanting to cry and curl up in a ball and sob!

Sorry guys, but thank you all for being there :)

How long did you take off? I took 10 days with each of mine. Aside from the physical, which can take a while to sort out (as you're finding, sadly) the emotional often hits a bit later. And frankly, I challenge any employer to moan that you're taking time off when it's something like this!
  • Huge hugs, leopardlady - I agree with the others - go home cuddle up in the duvet and give yourself some very tender loving care.

Thanks guys, i took 4 days off after the ERPC, i am debating whether to go home, as being busy is helping. But the other part of me thinks curling up on the sofa may do me more good?

Oh well, i will see when my hubby is done. Thanks again :)

  • I hope you did go home in the end. If you need to be busy, have you a project at home you could immerse yourself in - knitting, craft or decluttering or something?

Hope you feel better soon. Take care

Hi LL, hope you are feeling better. So emotional all this. Sorry you are going through it. x

Well, AF arrived with a vengeance today. I was shattered this afternoon after a few hours helping out at the Save the Pier shop with some painting, put my head down for half an hour at about five o'clock today then woke up over two hours later! Hope I sleep tonight, I hate my sleeping pattern at the moment.
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

Leopardlady, hope you feel a little better and get some rest.

Thank you to everyone for info on clinics etc which I am checking out. You are all so helpful when you have enough on your plates. Adoption at the moment in our area is a no no for a young child. They are pushing you to take an older child with behavioural problems or disability and we are really not cut out to deal with it. That sounds awful but I know 2 couples who foster mainly children with behavioural problems so I know the difficulties having seen them over 17 years! They didn't adopt but continue to foster since they discovered a lot of help with things like psychiatrists would dry up as soon as they adopted. Although of course you never know what you might be up against with your own either!

    Positive thoughts to you all
  • Dont know if it helps anyone, but I have a code for 10% off at access diagnostics - this is valid on both sites - www.accessdiagnostics.co.uk and www.accessdiagnostic.co.uk - They are the same company, but check both as sometimes things are cheaper on one than the other.

    The code is save10

Hope this helps someone - lilo
