I am still bleeding day 12, well its not blood blood its strange so I am off to the doctors tomorrow, I am really annoyed though no BD for us :mad:

Well, day 18 for me and CBFM still says high? Now 10 days of High! So either its wrong or I have taken a very long time to lay this egg! Hubbys grin is getting a bit forced now, and even he is wondering when it will go down again, so he gets a night off! Ahh, the joys of mating!

PS Nichart, hope they sort you out at the docs. I have my next 3 month check up tomorrow for my 'smear' so fingers crossed it will be okay. Better have a wash and brush up for my close up I suppose!!!

Nichart - Hope your doctors appointment goes/went well. My AF hangs around for about 2 weeks but I know the reasons for it and my cycle is 35ish days so now it's not too much of a problem.

Lilo - Are you still getting your highs? Could it be anything else........... not wanting to get your hopes up or anything!!!

Well I went for my follicle tracking on Friday and it had grown to 14mm so they estimated ov for yesterday - OH birthday so good time for BDing!! But then they told me not to try anymore this month as I am having anaesthetic next week so if I got pg I would be likely to lose it. Was quite upset Friday as I had got my hopes up to tell my family at Christmas but I'm ok now.

But I had some other positive news over the weekend and my Persona showed ov for Sunday/Monday. I used this about 2 years ago for 18 months and it never showed anything and this is the first month I have used it again. It was on day 22/23 of my cycle so I actually think we may of been BDing too early - they definitely took blood test too early last month.

Anyway, I am full of PMA now - despite not being able to try and I'm hoping that next year will be THE year.

Given up on the diet now for this year, just trying not to include chocolate with every meal (or alcohol for that matter!).

Here's hoping that next year is all of our years

It does this for the first few months of using it while it learns what your normal hormonal fluctuations are. By month 3 (if you still need it by then) you should only get a few high days before your peak.

well I went to doctors and I have been given norethisterone to stop AF so looks like im out of this month :mad: hope it does not mess my AF up for future months but she said it should just go back to normal

nadine its not nice to loose out on months to try but its good news that the Persona is showing up and I also think we are going to have lots of 2010 BFP's

lilo hope the CBFM gets used to your cycle soon, its good that it is picking up a high and you should definitely have this month covered :rotfl:

Thanks for all your messages. It is still high today, but when I compared the two sticks, it is much fainter today, so I think I will go back to low tomorrow. I hope I have ovd late, cos we did have a couple of days off in the middle as I had a batch of really really bad headaches.

Had my 3 month check up today. Everything is okay, just waiting for the results of the smear test taken. Back in another 3 months. I have another colposcopy and MRI scan in September, which is after 18 months, which will be reassuring.

Hope everyone is okay, lots of messing about by AF. I agree, heres to 2010 (breaks open virtual champagne!)

Make sure you do it nichart, three of us on this thread are LIVING proof of the need to get checked regularly!

I will definitley book it, I have read so many stories that make you realise the embarrassment is nothing compared to what could happen. I will wait until the end of this cycle when it ends and when next AF finishes I will book it then.

found out my manager is pregnant today she is the 5th person in our team this year and its not that big a team, I am finding so difficult been around pregnant ladies allllll day
