Lilo, hope you managed to get some sleep last night and are keeping your mind occupied. Do try to think of the best, not the worst, it works for me sometimes. Thinking of you, xx

Lilo, I'm not a regular poster but do read and lurk and post occassionally.
I hope everything works out for you, never give up hope and always ask for a second opinion! My Aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer, had a double mastectomy, given the all clear then collapsed 6 months later. They then found secondary tumours in her brain and spine and her consultant said there wasn't any further treatment she could have. She sought a second opinion and had radiotherapy and a new drug and 4 years later is still clear of all cancer!

Lilo, I can't begin to imagine how you must be feeling right now, I would just like to send you lots of hugs.
  • Lilo thinking of you and sending lots of (((((hugs))))) your way

I am feeling a little more festive the tree went up yesterday and I have bought some presents I told people not to get me any as I was not doing christmas :o but I love giving presents even it will be 1 month xtra added to my dfd it will be worth it.

I think the AF it not an ongoing AF I think I have an infection of some sort I am going to doctors 29th to have some swabs taken. **tmi** has anyone has like pinky discharge continue for 12 days after AF finished its not blood I just presumed it was AF but I am a little
  • Nichart, it could be a little bit of blood mixed with you normal discharge (you know the fertile stuff) normally if you have an infection (TMI) it will smell. I have had huge probs with bleeding, and a very little bit of blood goes a very long way when mixed in with a clear, normal discharge. Glad you are feeling festive.

THANKS EVERYONE for your messages of support and I feel the love!!!!!

I am now on day 22 and still on high on the CBFM so clearly it is all screwed!!!

I have decided to ignore all bad things until I have been told the fat lady has sung her last song. I have given up a lot of my life over the last year to doom and gloom, and I was finally looking forward. If I were to pop my clogs tomorrow, I would have to think my last day on this earth was spent like this. I know that it is not anywhere near this dire, but I am conscious that life is very precious, and can be taken away at any time. And I have a very, very precious 6 year old boy that is the light of my life. If I am not to be blessed with any more, I sure as hell will make sure that I enjoy every last moment with him and my hubby. So there!!!

And where have I spent my day? I went to a funeral!!!!!

Love to you all - Lilo

  • Lilo glad your feeling the love :p has today made a difference if you dont mind me asking

thank you for your advice, yep it must be an infection the TMI is what I got ggggrrrrrr I dont have an appointment until 29th because work are been  about appointments they are not saying no because they can't but they like to make life difficult, might ring see if I can get in sooner stuff em!!!
  • Try ringing and getting a telephone consultation, I have found that they dont normally bother to examine, but work on a description. He may be prepared to prescribe antibiotics, and follow up with a swab if it isnt responding - mine only swab later rather than sooner. HTH

Hi Lilo. phew. So good to hear from you and it even sounds like a tiny little bit of PMA has reached you, so I have to say you are one amazing woman and should be very proud of yourself for coping so well through the shock of it all! Tea and cake being sent your way to assist in building some more PMA for you, here's hoping, x

Have you wondered if maybe your CBFM is faulty? I would be chucking my one against the wall if it was that funny with me! But you never know...

Nichart, sounds like my doctor's surgery, that does! Them: 'do you really need to see a doctor?', me: 'why else would I be ringing?', them:'well, we are fully booked all week and next, can it wait?', me:'no! I'm ill now - sorry it wasn't planned ahead but has caught me unawares...' ... Stupid surgery!
  • Just saw that you asked about the funeral nichart - no I didnt actually know the man that died, it was DH uncle who I had never met.

I found myself getting very short tempered and grumpy with my little boy yesterday, and decided that that wasnt the person I wanted to be - He is so precious to me, as is my DH, and I dont want to be that person with them. I just decided that I only got one shot at life, I dont know what is in store for me in the future, but I didnt want to ruin the present.

Thanks Madmac, dont know about pma, but I am a stubborn old boot, does that count?

And as for the CBFM, words fail me. I am trying to continue using it (that PMA again) even though it seems a bit pointless - but it cant possibly be right so I am a little peeved with it!

  • Lilo your bound to take your worries out on the people closest to you, im sure we all do that, I for one am guilty, glad your PMA is back up

my doctors are quite good you can go in a morning to walk in surgery 8-9.30 but have to have an appointment for a nurse, its my work that are been idiots (other day I cried they upset me that much but then I was mad that I let myself get upset), I dread to think what they will be like when im having Ivf treatment

I have been on here far too long lol, having a lonely night without hubby he is on his last night shift
