hugs to lilo and anyone else who needs them. No PMA or Xmas spirit here, but did have a visit to gynae this week who confirmed I have one stuffed tube, but thinks DH Subnormal count and quality may still be ok for IUI, so has referred us. So glad he didn't just go for the 3 cycles of clomis he spoke about last time - this feels a little more positive (and you lot scared me about clomid!)

So why no PMA or christmas spirit ? I just don't know

I have my MRI appointment thru. It will be 13th January 2010, so not long.

Cedrickerry, that doesn't sound bad to me, fingers crossed it does the trick for you! Hopefully your PMA will wing its way to you soon once the shock of it all has gone - we all work ourselves up to what we will be told and sometimes it is a real anticlimax afterwards, x

Hi cedrickerry. Any idea in which way your tube is messed up? I've just had mine removed due to poison leaking from my appendix when I was 6.
I ask because my consultant didn't see any point us trying IUI, as we wouldn't know if I had a viable ovulation that month...
They also decided that because my tube was so full of cr*p that it would also most likely be having a detrimental effect on conception as the leaking cr*p could wash away implanting embryos. I think that could also make the womb a bit hostile too, ph and stuff...
Anyway, for me, it was decided that it had to go before they would move us onto IVF, but that we could skip the IUI part. Hydrosalpinx, that's what it's called.

I am getting a cold!!!! Yet again - just as holiday is about to start. We started calling this my 'holiday allergy'. So, I am curled up on the sofa with a duvet and fire on as it is freezing here today. We have a couple of inches of snow and it looks fantastic.

On the other 'front' - CD13, and got a peak on CBFM. Now just need to have enough energy to bd...

I am off to doctors again in morning could not wait any longer I think its Bacterial vaginosis that I have (I have been googling) and I want to get on antibiotics as soon as poss and get rid

Ginvzt, I always find I work such long hours that when I finally get a break I always come down with a cold or something else! I swear it is because the adrenalin I'm usually living off takes a nose dive when I calm down to a more sedate pace and then wham! A virus takes its place. Weird! Hope you're feeling better soon - a sip of medicinal brandy for you I think!

How's everybody doing this Christmas week? I'm stupidly assuming we all celebrate the festive season, so apologies if some don't x

luckily not so serious as yours then - just blocked at the top, only decreased chances of natural conception by 10%. I'm otherwise fine - OV every month as far as we can tell - it's more of a male issue - probably would not have found out about the tube thing if it wasn't for the SA. I know I am so much luckier than other ladies on here. Just a little down thats all
